I am a single mother of 2 young boys, LD 2 years old and LT 1 year old. they keep me very busy. I live in Kansas where I work for the local newspaper. I enjoy swap bot very much. I have met alot of wonderful people here, and alot of lasting friends are here. Thank you!

Updated Nov. 13--I am in need of encouragement, an email message, a warming card, anything...I have decided to begin online classes to obtain a college degree, Business/Accounting, I am discouraged because here I am thinking that an education will help me better my life and the lives of my boys, but will it??? I mean I live in a tiny town, and there is plenty of Accounting Firms already...I dont know I keep telling myself to stay focused, and by the time I do graduate I will know what I want to do with my education...any positive reinforcement will be most appreciated. Thanks everyone.!

*I love to scrapbook- mostly for my kids!

*I like stars alot, Christmas stars, yellow stars, wooden stars, journals with stars..any stars!!

*stationary sets/matching paper and envies,especially ones with colorful borders--I like having a few pen pals!

*I love to read magazines, especially parenting magazines or cosmo/fashion magazines

*recipes; any especially casseroles or crockpot or dips!!. send me your favorite recipe and i will love you forever!

• Moose--I love this animal! I like the more realistic ones and the fakish ones! I love them!

*favorite colors are green and blue. i like the colors that go together too like khaki and sage or red and green, stuff that compliments each other.

*I love candles, especially cinnamon or apple. I like the kind that smell for a long time! I enjoy the warm scented ones, especially since cold weather is among us ;)

*Favorite holidays are Christmas, Halloween and Valentines Day.

*I love to alter books, and love getting random odds and ends--seems everyone elses odds and ends are always more interesting than mine. If anyone can find GESSO I would love more!

*I love lotion-especially hand made or anything that is really for dry hands. I like pearberry scent and sweetpea (both are scents from bath and body works--of course cheap or knock off brands are welcome) I also like mostly any fruit smell--not cucumber melon though I have had enough of that ;).

• I love flowers especially roses! I like pink ones probably the best, and I adore artwork with roses on it, like an atc, or postcard, or even a journal with roses on it...flowers make me smile.

*I love dragonflies- LOVE THEM! I have a dragonfly tattoo that is very special to me. Dragonflies are just so aestically pleasing, they are wonderful!

*Postcards- If you send me a postcard swap please send me one of your state. I am in the process of collecting a postcard from every state, I would like to have a great card written on by you - not just a blank card. If you live in Kansas, I would like to have one from your town or county. Any card you enjoy, I know I will enjoy! Thanks!

*I do not like Kawaii, Diddl, Hello Kitty, nothing like that...

*I do not like vegetarian recipes.

*I am not really into cats.

honestly, I am easy to please, if you send me something you love I will love it too!

If I am ever in a swap that clothing or sizes are a part of, my clothing size is large for like shirts and stuff...my shoe size is 9 1/2 usually--this coincides with sock swaps as well. and if I am ever in an underwear swap, my size is 6. My ring size is 6 or 6 1/2, but sometimes half sizes are not available.

I would love to get homemade things! I really appreciate the time and love put into hand made items.

matchboxes: if someone would ever make one for me I would really enjoy a Christmas theme, Valentines theme.

*Hand made soap, lotion, or candle is always a favorite of mine as well. If you are a candle maker, I would appreciate any scent you have to offer, please dont limit it to cinnamon or apple.

*if anyone would ever make me a dotee i would love it. I recently received my first dotee, in a Halloween swap, I love her soo much. I would really love to have a friend for her.

*A Christmas ornament would be so lovely. I dont have many for my tree.

*I alter books/journals...one of my books is themed with gardening and quotes and another is american dream and my final one is about fashion...any bits in any of these themes would be great!

*I love love love to journal..send me a journal! also if you want to do a journal swap in which we each journal for a set amount of time, i would definately be interested!i love to read about others' lives...

*I enjoy photography, and scrapbooking.

*I can say I have caught the dotee bug, I love them soo much. I have only made a few but I know there are many more ideas in my little head for them ;)

*As far as food goes I LOVE chocolate- i would love to try some chili or cinnamon flavored chocolate or chocolate from other countries, I really love truffles!

*I enjoy tea especially flavored. Tea seems to help me relax after a long day and warm up on cold evenings.

• I really like pocky and would like to try other types, i only have access to chocolate and strawberry, any other type would be wonderful to try.

*Basically, if you are kind enough to share food with me, I would love to have something local for you. If you live outside the US I would love to try something that I am unable to get here.

*Like I stated earlier I am into DOTEES now haha, if anyone would like to trade with me, let me know. I am a beginner and definately not the best but I love each of my dotees, and they are beautiful!! Please if you trade with me include a birth certificate or adoption certificate, and please have her named!!! JOURNALS-- I LOVE RECEIVING JOURNALS, IT SEEMS LIKE I ALWAYS FILL THEM UP SO FAST..I WOULD LOVE ANYTHING THAT ANYONE WOULD CHOOSE TO GIVE TO ME. ANYTHING YOU THINK IS NEAT, I WOULD ENJOY TOO! I WOULD LOVE ANYTHING THAT RELATES TO WHERE YOU ARE FROM. BLANK OR LINED EITHER WAY I JUST LOVE! THANKS!!! OH IF ANYONE WANTS TO DO A PRIVATE JOURNAL TRADE, JUST LET ME KNOW--I AM DEFINATELY UP FOR RECEIVING A NEW JOURNAL..(oh also, i only write in blue ink- unless I cant - i.e. my pen runs out --emergency situation haha)

*WINTER/CHRISTMAS SWAPS I love all parts of christmas/winter, I love snowflakes, snowmen, MOOSE, santas, elves, angels, REALLY unique nativity scenes..LOVE it ALL. I would love so much, to have a christmas/winter themed dotee doll. I got my first dotee for halloween, and i love her! I would enjoy warm scented candles, hot chocolate, tea, cider (yummm), cozy socks, anything to keep me warm on cold days. I love POINSETTA plants and HOLLY...I would love to have a letter of any family traditions or any family recipes. I dont really have very many ornaments for my tree haha - I havent had to have my own tree for very many years (only about 3), so any beautiful ornaments would be appreciated (maybe handmade?) oh if anyone is really crafty, i would love a handmade stocking, or even a tiny one that i could bring to work!! I think it would be wonderful if you could includ a small something for my bf (his likes are below) or my boys (also below) -- ...thanks so much for considering. My oldest son, LD, will be 3 on January 1, he is ALL BOY and very crazy at times. He enjoys Pinocchio, matchbox/hotwheels cars, Finding Nemo, and strawberry pocky.

My youngest, LT, will be 2 December 14. He is a bit more shy but still onery at times. He enjoys Matchbox/hotwheels cars (soo much), strawberry pocky, and cell phones (fake ones and real ones ;)

My boyfriend is the most amazing man I have ever met, he has accepted me and my children and lately we have been talking about marriage!!! if anyone would like to send anything for him. He is 22, he enjoys Mustang cars especially Mach 1 Mustangs (he has a 1969 one). He enjoys music, burnt CD's, hunting, fishing, Dallas Cowboys, typical guy stuff. Oh and some not soo guyish stuff, he enjoys trying different teas, and he likes candles..mostly the same scents as me. If you are sending a package or a little something for him please write LCL on it.
