I am 71 years old, Have been married to my hubby Lou for 40 years. We have three daughters, five grand kids and 9 great grand kids.!! I was a widow when we were married. WE have lived in 7 states. We live in the country on five acres. My passion used to be making quilts, but due to bad arthritis and FMS and CFS, I can't do that much any more

, I love to read,The Cozy mysteries are great!!, historical fiction, but do read other books I can get! Love to garden, as much as I can.I still like to can and freeze any thing I can get . I scrapbook and do FB's. I homeschooled my grand kids, due to them having ADD or ADHD. Am on the last one now!! We were foster parents. Our home seems to collect "throw a way kids" or kids that have no where to live, All they need is love!!

I love most country music, old timers music of 40's and 50's. like- L Divo, Celtic Thunder, l volo Yanni, Susan Boyle, The Gaithers Vocal Band., Some Rap, Bluegrass.

I read about any thing I can get my hands. I love Historical Fiction or Romance, also love the Cozy mysteries!. My wonderful hubby got me a Kiindle for Christmas, so I have a lot of books on it now to read. I am a fast reader! I usually read what ever books the kids have to read for school also.

Like to read my Bible daily

I don't watch many movies, unless they are on TV like Hallmark ones. I usually get ones the kids like instead.

I watch too much TV! Like all the CSI's, The NCIS's, Crimanal Minds,The Forgotten, Castle, The Closer, Saving Grace HGTV, Hallmark, Discovery's and History.Dancing with the stars I am a Young and Restless Soap Fan

I was a big Quilter at one time, now I make one slowly. I have done lots of Embroidery, needlepoint, scrapbooking, Like to swap on cafe mom and swap bot!! Love to penpal, but due to my arthritis, I have to type letters . Like to knit and crochet Like most colors. Pinks, purples, lilac, yellow, browns, reds,greens.

I love to go to thrift stores, yard sales ,flea markets My hubby say's my favorite place is Walmart!! Also, Michaels, Hancock Fabrics, and Jo Anns Fabrics!! Craft sales or shows. Field Trips with the kids!!

My family is spread all over the world. My grand kids, three of them, have been to Iraq and one is still in aftghanistan. Except for the youngest one who is 18. And her older brother works with his grandpa. I don't see much of my great grand babies cause they mostly all live far away. I see them on facebook tho!! Pictures are the next best thing!!

I love teas of all kinds! fruity, herbal, medicinal, loose and bagged! Grew up drinking it cause my mom was from Newfoundland and English.
