I'm a SAHM of two sons, ages 24 and 18, one grandson, 18 m/o—he is the little guy in the picture. I also have three cats, three dogs, and a DH (since 1980!). I've homeschooled for 19 years. We are into Boy Scouts and I volunteer with the Friends of the Library.

I was raised on "Ring of Fire" and "Hello, Darlin'" and have a true fondness for classic country. And once I started liking Billy Ray, I never stopped.

My first rock loves were David and Donnie. Elvis was de rigueur in those days, so I know most of his stuff by heart. Other than that, ‘70s jukebox is my style. And I still stop everything when "At This Moment" comes on the radio.

I’m a hopeless romantic and have been reading Romance novels all my life. I also read one or two genuine classics each year. Some of my favorites have been: Wuthering Heights, The Scarlet Letter, Dante’s Inferno.

I’m not usually into these types of movies, but Robert Downy, Jr. in Iron Man blew me away. Titanic and Pirates of the Caribbean were also “big screen worthy”-meaning worth paying the big bucks to see super-sized.

I’m a big fan of Numb3rs, The Office, House, CSI, Law & Order: CI, Criminal Mind, Bones, and the Mentalist.

DH loves Dollhouse for some reason.

When I have time, I like to cross stitch. When I don't have time, I collect cross stich. I used to crochet back in the day and may get back into that now that I'm a grandma. I also like to garden. Or at least to think about gardening.

And since joining this site, ATC's are my current obsession.

We are a Scouting family. My son started as a Tiger and is now an Eagle Scout. My DH and I each went through Woodbadge (separately). He is a Beaver and I am a Fox.

I joined in February 2009 since I enjoy postcarding. (I have been doing PostCrossings.com off and on for over a year.) This is such a nice community that I felt encouraged to branch out into other types of swaps. I started doing ATCs in March and fell in love with this new (to me) art/craft.

Anything for my ATC addiction; Apple stuff for my kitchen; Stuff for my 1.5 y/o grandson; Religious stuff -- any religion; Hard candy, like Werther's Originals; Completed cross stitch w/ initials & date.
