Just an FYI - Recently, I was laid off from my job after working reduced hours for over a year. So am being careful with my budget and have and will not be doing as many swaps as I did in the past. I will make sure that I mail any current and future swap on time.

I love reading and photography. I'm a chocaholic and have a sweet tooth too - but don't consider white chocolate to be chocolate. I love flowers, cats, and fruits but they dont love me as am allergic to them. So, in order to enjoy flowers I go to the local Conservatory and photograph them there and on good days go on nature walks and enjoy nature. I love to read and love a good mystery - Sherlock Holmes is my favorite, coming in a close 2nd is JD Robb's mysteries. Strangely enough, I also read WEB Griffin's WWII and Korea series. My favorite color is purple, blue is next, with fushia's, maroon and teal tones coming after them. Like the jewel or pure tone colors over pastels and avoid yellows and pinks. one of the things I collect is stamps.

I enjoy most types except hip hop, ganster, and rap. I prefer late 50's to 70's rock and roll. Elvis, Rod Stewart, Dolly Parton, Billy Joel, Harry Connick Jr., Ella Fitzgerald, and others

I don't really have a favorite movie; however, don't like horror movies. I really like Oklahoma and White Christmas. Also like the original three Star Wars movies -now numbered 4-6, Star Trek movies-original cast and next generation, and Harry Potter movies.

My favorite Tv shows are MASH, Are You Being Served?, all CSI shows, Doctor Who - past and present, Sherlock Holmes - Jeremy Brett, Stargate sg1,Ground Force, Ground Force America, and other various mystery shows.

I do all sorts of crafts - beading, needlepoint, knitting, stain glass,photography, quilting, etc.

I love tea! I particularily like black, flavored black, and herb teas. Am not a fan of green teas and have to avoid teas with lemon, orange, and in particular, strawberry - I get hives in the mouth or just stuff up and get a bad sore throat. I also like hot chocolate and hot apple cider - yummm! (Yeah!!! I'm not allergic to it!) I do not like - nor can I drink - coffee! It hasn't liked me since before I was born!

I have been collecting stamps off and on since I was a child. I was extremely happy to see that there were stamps swaps going on here (Yeah!!!)I collect stamps from all over the world. Although most of my collection consists of cancelled stamps - they're easy to get - I do collect uncancelled ones too - when I can get my handles on them. I seem to be specializing not only in US stamps (aviation and transportation in particular) but also in Great Britain, Czech., and Germany (no particular area for foreign stamps.) I may eventually post here a list of stamps for the US and Great Britain that I'm looking for. Right now I would say I'm looking for the US Henry Fonda and the James Stewart stamps. Also, am looking for any stamps referencing Queen Elizabeth, her anniversary, and her children's weddings.
