About Me

I am retired and live at the beach sometimes and sometimes in the middle of NC when my husband of 44 years are helping with the grandchildren. I have always been interested in crafts and have taken all kinds of classes over the years. I have 5 grandchildren - the lastest a little boy adopted from Guatemala. I am doing an Asian altered book right now and a "Bliss" book so I am collecting anything to do with those 2 subjects. Any Advertising or newspaper or magazine articles that say "Bliss>" UPDATE: I now have 6 grandchildren. My daughter who adopted the little boy just had a little girl on Aug 13. Her name is Ava Kate and she was 2 months early because they found that my daughter had 3 cancerous lesions on her brain. She is going through radiation and we are all praying for a complete recovery. Uupdate: Things are going quite well for my daughter - She has had the gamma knife 2x and is now taking a chemo pill. I help a lot with her 3 children- They are a joy. 2-2008. Things are still going in the right direction for us all.

stamping, scrapbooking, altering books, calligraphy i am learning I love paper crafts also along with bookmaking and knitting. I am also enjoying all the ATC swaps. I keep signing up for more - it is good therapy.

About Me

i collect all kinds of stuff, just in case I need it some day. I love sales and thrift stores and do love a bargain. Right now I am trying to find some Pokemon cardsa and som Star War cards to make a book for my grandsons. That is their latest passion

Response: It is a great movie. My granddaughter had to read the book this summer for her Junior English class. Queen Lateefa, Dakota Fanning and Alicia Keyes are in it. Parts of it are filmed in Wilmington and Southport, NC. I have an apartment in Southport.

Response: I am sorry about not putting in a note - my life is on the fast track right now and I am having trouble even getting my atc's out. I have been babysitting and then my water heater burst and I have a big flood to clean up in my apartment - still not done with that. If we swap again - I will try to get a note in - I know what you mean though - I love getting notes with my atc's. judy happy swapping

Don't worry aobut being late. Things happen to us all and we have to put what is important first. My son(now 32) survived a non-maligment brain tumor. God works wonders..
