First the business part:
I pledge to other swap-bot members to:
Rate for every swap I take part in.
Rate as soon as I am able to get on line after swap is received.
Rate Fairly, I will only give a 1 rating if a swap hasn't been received and that no contact has been made from the sender. I promise to pm member first to give them the chance to resolve the situation first.
I will only give a 3 if i feel that the swap didn't meet the requirements and that the partner choose's not to correct the swap.
I will not use slander or badmouth anyone when given a rating, facts is all that is needed when rating a 1.
Now, the personal part:
I am a Christian wife and mother. My husband and I met in college and we've been happily married 23 years now. We have 4 children, two biological sons, 21 and 17 and two beautiful Asian daughters, 11 and 6.
We also have a dog named Sampson. He is a Morkie - half maltese and half Yorkie. He is adorable. We all love him very much.
My girls love to craft with mommy - my youngest says, "Let's be busy, Mommy". My older daughter is a wonderful artist, beautiful and talented, what more could I ask for. They are next generation Swab-botter.
My music tastes are very eclectic. I love Christian music, Jazz, classical, Blues, all the way to classic rock and roll. The only thing I don't get into is hard rock or indie.
I enjoy Nora Jones, Jason Mratz, Kristin Chenoweth, Celine Dion, Harry Connick Jr., Faith Hill, Steven Curtis Chapman, Nat King Cole, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Shania Twain, Gaither Vocal Band, Third Day...
(I told you my taste was eclectic!)
My absolute favorite movie is "An American President". Outside of that, I love all the old Doris Day, Rock Hudson movies. White Christmas is my favorite holiday movie. I loved the National Treasure movies as well as the Steven Seagull Under Siege series.
I love all Disney movies, animated or real.
If given a choice I would go to a comedy before I went to any other movie.
I enjoy a good shoot em' up action movie occasionally as well.
I love CSI. I watch CSI and CSI New York. My new favorite this season is Gary Unmarried. I also enjoy NCIS, Numb3rs, Monk, Psych Forensic Files, the Mentalist, Bones and old Friends episodes.
My favorite old shows are The Golden Girls (they are my crafting ladies. I watch - I mean listen to them while I'm cooking or crafting.)
I'll try anything once as long as it doesn't involve knitting or crochet (I don't want to say I'll never do it but I really don't care to learn at this point)
I would love to receive:
I am not a fan of anything about mythology. I don't get into tarot cards, fortune telling or astrological signs. I do not like dark mysterious colors. I don't like scary movies or being scared. Please leave off any skull, cross bones or anything related to death or dying.
Sierra, my 11 year old is very new to America. We adopted her from China in June of 2009. She loves it here and is doing very well. She is a talented artist. She loves the colors blue and purple. She enjoys reading, Hannah Montana, playing Wii games, rummy and anything tiny.
Lily, is 6 years old, in first grade and loves "being busy" with Mom. She loves anything pink and frilly. She enjoys NiHao KaiLan, Sponge Bob, princess, fairies and dancing. We adopted Lily 6 years ago from China and she loves her new big sister.
I love historical romances. One of my favorite authors is Lori Wick - but I've read everything she has written, I keep waiting for the next book out. My favorite time period is the American Frontier time frame ~1845-1916. But I'll read any time period piece.
Color: Pink - any shade. Just about any pastel colors though.
Patterns: Polka dots and swirls
Nature scenes - I love to see God's beauty and handiwork.
Happy times or picture
Basically I am a girly girl and love anything frilly or sparkly.
