I am a Nature Interpreter at a butterfly conservatory, with a science degree and a teaching degree. I love to read and watch tv in my spare time (sometimes even at the same time). I also enjoy scrapbooking and knitting (though I don't do as much as I should). My favourite colour is purple, my favourite animal is the orca, and my favourite thing to eat is chocolate ( I have some almost every day). I have a debilitating addiction to lip balm (especially Lip Smackers), and usually have at least three tubes of it on the go at a time. I own an extensive selection of socks, all of which are patterned and coloured in bright and fun ways. I think I own three pairs of plain white socks, which are only worn when nothing else is clean (which, thankfully, doesn't happen very often).

My favourite group of all time is the Backstreet Boys. I can listen to them for hours and have seen them in concert six times. However, my taste in music is wide-ranging. My iPod contains songs from all decades and all styles: Elvis, the Beatles, the Monkees, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tiffany, New Kids on the Block, Our Lady Peace, Puddle of Mudd, Fall Out Boy, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, S Club 7, Spice Girls, Aqua, Amanda Marshall, Jewel, Alanis Morrisette, Eminem, and Nelly, just to name a few. I'll listen to anything atleast once.

Where to start, where to start...I love the "Harry Potter" series by JK Rowling, and the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon. I also enjoy the writings of Dean Koontz, Sophie Kinsella, and Heather Graham. I'll read horror, suspense, historical fiction, fantasy, mystery, and chick lit. I've even read a romance novel or two in my lifetime. I also enjoy non-fiction nature books, especially ones about whales or animal behaviour and emotions.

Top three: Smallville, Supernatural, LOST. I also watch One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Heroes, CSI, CSI:NY, Reaper, 90210, and The Vampire Diaries. I am a huge tv junkie, and spend a lot of my time in front of the tube. I have the complete series of Friends, Dawson's Creek and The O.C. on DVD and watch them each atleast once a year. I have seven seasons of Smallville, the first two seasons of Supernatural and the first season of One Tree Hill. I hope to get LOST on DVD one day, too.

*coffee (the taste, the smell, everything)

I am a big fan of chick flicks and rom-coms...basically anything with some humor and a happy ending. That being said, my all-time favourite movie fits into neither of those catergories. My favourite, favourite movie of all time is Free Willy (and anyone who has read my profile is probably not surprised by this). Some of my other favourites are:
