Poohtat

I am 58 years old and my birthday is in February. My profile name Poohtat is because one of my first tattoos was Winnie-the-Pooh. I am retired. I live in Maine with my husband, two grown sons, four dogs, two gargoyle geckos, thirty-two mourning geckos and twenty-five tiny dart frogs. Our house is loud, messy and fun!

My husband is my best friend and soulmate. I could not imagine life without him. My sons are wonderful young men with special needs.

Two of my dogs are Jackabees. This is a Beagle/Jack Russel cross. They have the same parents but from different litters. Their names are Bella Blu and Bunky. My other dog is a Rotti/French Bulldog mix named Snuzie Q. Our biggest is a Great Weimaraner named Indigo Jade - Indy for short. She is a Great Dane/Weimaraner mix. Our youngest is a German Shorthaired Pointer named Piper Quinn.

I love words with friends and wordle. Cribbage is my favorite card game.

I like my postcards written on, stamped and mailed.

I have had multiple surgeries on my right (dominant) hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Because of this, sometimes I will type my letters. I do use a handicap pen which is the size of a mini baseball bat! I do not mind if someone sends me a typed note or letter instead of hand written. I have Fibromyalgia/Chronic Pain Syndrome. Some days are good and some not. I had a recent fall and broke my pelvis, sacrum and wrist. I also did damage to ligaments in my knee as well as my kneecap. My mobility issues have been trying and I am learning to adjust to full-time walker/wheelchair use instead of just getting up and going.

I love receiving your craft/art. Something you made means a lot to me and I know it was special to you. I love knowing someone put their time and love into the craft.

My favorite movies are the Minion movies. The Bourne movies. The Kingsmen, Leaugue of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Mission Impossible series.

I am not very crafty, but I enjoy what others can do.

I love photography and have taken some classes with my husband. We love to take a day and go out shutter bugging.

It is always interesting to see the photos we each took of the same place but we see it so differently. Greg sees the big picture overall and I focus on the small details like a bug or a mushroom.

I have begun experimenting with paper crafts. I use little paper scraps, stickers and assorted things to put in my little bin of treasures to possibly be used in my next project or put into my happy journals/scrapbooks.

I love the painted rock craze. People leave their artwork on rocks and then place them around town for others to find.

I love my tiny dart frogs. They call all the time. It is really fun to hear frog sounds in the middle of a snow storm in February!

Leucomalas is a tiny yellow and black frog known as the Bumble Bee frog. I currently have two of these frogs and hope to raise some tadpoles next Spring to add three more to my tank. These frogs are very sociable and hop right up to my hand when I am feeding them.

Vittatus is a little frog that has a black body with a blue belly and an orange/red stripe or stripes down its back. I currently have 16. They have a very loud call. We can hear the upstairs tank calling when we go downstairs and hear the downstairs tank upstairs!

El Cope Auratus is a tiny Blue frog with black stripes and spots. I currently have five of these frogs. Their call is a low vibrating purrlike sound.

Epipedobates anthonyi 'Santa Isabel', commonly known as the phantasmal poison dart frog frog, is a small, bold, and colorful frog. These frogs are also known as SIs or Santa Isabels. I currently have three adult frogs and two tadpoles. They are a brownish red with very bright light green stripes. Very loud call!

My favorite television shows are Scary People, NCIS, FBI series, The Equalizer, The Rookie, The Rookie Feds, Blue Bloods, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Wednesday and Ghosts.

This is a group that will send a card to an elderly person. It also allows you to see the names so you can pick someone to send a card to. This is such a great idea because the elderly can get very lonely. There is another group called
