I'm a late twenties liberal lesbian librarian. I have a beautiful wife, and two cats. In my free time I like to watch anime and TV series, crochet tiny cthulhus, knit fingerless gloves, read YA novels, manga, and books on knitting humor.

Favorite Candy: Fruit flavored things - Starburst, regular and sour skittles, gummi bears, sweettarts, spree, strawberry/fruit mentos

I like a lot of different things. I like J-Rock and J-Pop and anime music. I also love showtunes and classical music. I'm kind of into techno a little. I like oldies, I like rock and roll.

Some groups/albums/songs I love: Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Wicked Soundtrack, Enya, Metallica, The Killers, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson.

I also really like seasonal holiday music sometimes especially old old ones, things like Riu Riu Chiu and traditional carols (not so much Bing Crosby but more... ancient madrigal choirs). I like music in languages not English!

Currently I can't get enough of the Dresden Files. Jim Butcher is a genius and next I must start reading his Codex Alera series.

Other favorites: Melanie Rawn's Exiles Series, Anything Neil Gaiman wrote ever, YA GLBT fiction, YA books in general. Graphic novels like A Distant Soil.

Also manga :)

I'm a sucker for a good fantasy film like Labyrinth (I'm a child of the 80s big time), Pan's Labyrinth, Mirromask, Neverwhere.

I also love Frequency, Pixar animated movies, What Dreams May Come, Remember the Titans, Cool Runnings, Mamma Mia, Interstellar 9999, Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek Reboot.

CSI (Las Vegas), Firefly, Starsky and Hutch, Lucky Star (anime), Doctor Who and Torchwood, Stargate SG1, Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Star Trek (all flavors).

I hate all reality shows except for America's Next Top Model (a guilty pleasure).

I like to watch old TV shows too. Like McGuyver, Dragnet, MASH, and the like.

I also loved Angry Beavers on Nick.

I crochet and knit. I ALWAYS NEED MORE YARN (but no thanks on the traditional Red Heart, I have enough of that XD - Red Heart specialties are great ((Soft, Baby, recycled etc.).

I like to bead earrings and necklaces and bracelets, I also like paints and fabrics. I do a little bit of sewing. Am always in need of things like stitch markers and knitting needle holder things.

I would just be IN HEAVEN to get some neat wooden vintage knitting needles and things like that. :) Circular needles are great. Always need those. And double pointed needles. And cable needles.

I'm getting into soap making and FIMO clay is fantastically fun.

I would always love knitting/crochet patterns.

In case you need ideas for stickers, cards, art supplies, things like that.

Blue roses, colorful fish and frogs, stars, sparkly things, nothing REALLY girly (please no barbie and tons of pink), planets and moons, pagan type things, celtic type things (knots, trees etc.), Badtz Maru, lucky star, utena, evangelion.

I love yarns, just please not the traditional Red Heart ^^;; I've got enough of that to last me forever. Nothing scratchy (which doesn't rule out wool because there's TONS of GORGEOUS nice wool). I love some of the new acryllics which are so soft!

Beads are great! Fat quarters rock! Fabric remnants in neat colors are sweet :)

My favorite color is blue. I also like silver, some greens (not olivey greens though, more dark greens and blue greens). Secondary color choices: red, yellow, and deep purples.

I really don't care for pastels and the brown with baby blue color fascination lately is really not to my tastes.
