Happy Swapping!!!

My name is Heather and I'm from Buffalo, NY. I am almost 35 this year! Hopefully 2021 gives me a better birthday this year. Last year, my Birthday was hectic due to New York State being on lock down thanks to Covid-19.

Well here is few details about me: I have a BS in Criminal Justice with a minor in legal studies from Buffalo State College. I am a clerk for the Buffalo Public School System. I live at home with my husband, adult son, and our 3 other children. We have 2 cats, and 4 dogs! A pomchi, chihuahua, and 2 standard poodles. Bottom line we have a very full house especially being locked up all these months lol.

I have been penpaling/ swapping/ postcarding for going on 8 years now, and I’m still in love with it just like day 1. I have met so many amazing people, learned about so many different cultures, and languages that it makes this hobby one of my most fulfilling activity.

I love to travel, I love everything about it. I live very close to Canada so I before the pandemic my family and I would travel often along the east coast USA and Ontario, CAN. In 2018, I finally made the trip of my lifetime to the UK. I stayed in London (which has always been a dream of mine) for my 10th year anniversary. We also took a Train to Scotland and I met my long time pen pal and dear friend for many years, I was able to attend her 50th birthday which was an amazing adventure for us. I have so many plans to continue to travel. Now, that my kids are getting old, things are a bit easier to manage.

Hobbies of mine include: Reading!!!! Writing, postcard collecting, my art work, and traveling.I will post ABC’s about me below (I’ve been meaning to do this for about 3 years haha) I know there is more, just drawing a blank, once I remember hopefully I Romberg to update as well lol.
