in real life i'm a chef, knitter, sometimes crocheter,, now a newly wed!

i love rock music and most music if i like the beat i love it. i'm into coldplay, orgy, theory of a deadman, seether, franz ferdinand, ok go, s.o.a.d , audioslave, sound garden, savage garden, darren hayes, finger eleven, trapt, queens of the stoneage, bobnoxious and more.

i love brian jacques books, or for people who don't know him, the redwall series? that ring a bell?...ok umm.. i like harry potter yes i'm not ashamed. there are other authors i love, i'm just not reading anything at the moment besides narnia.

i love nightmare before christmas! anything by tim burton. the m. night shaymalan movies. ratatouille, the harry potter movies, the narnia series. sweeney todd. fried green tomatoes. anything funny or interesting. i'm not into gore or really sappy movies. i like stories that i have to sit and figure out. alice in wonderland is the theme to my wedding and one of my alltime favorite movies! anything from that movie especially the cheshire cat or the mad hatter i love!

the drew carey show, lost, hells kitchen, ramseys kitchen nightmares, how clean is your house, family guy, the simpsons, southpark, the colbert report, conan obrien, iron chef the original one! not the one with alton brown. ace of cakes, futurama, and aqua teen hunger force.

mostly i love knitting. ever since i started 2 years ago. it was something to keep myself from going crazy during finals week. i do crochet. i did start with that, and sometimes, though rarely, you'll find me finishing one of my various, latch or cross stich pieces.

as for other things...i love dark chocolate. gummy bears and worms and coffees and teas of any kind are a must in anyones emergency stash along with sock yarn! i'm a chef at a great club so i love cooking, baking and anything related. i have an obsession about socks that the hubby to be finds hilarious. and i'm always losing my dpns! (double pointed needles size 1-3)i love frogs, ducks, monkeys, bears, teacups, and bunnies. i collect all of those. i love handmade dishcloths or scrubbies. any type of yarn. mostly sock yarn.(i prefer superwash) did i mention that? if you're knitting socks for me i'm a size 9. i love anything ginger ale, rootbeer, orange or cherry. as for household things i love dish towels with chef prints or food prints of anytype. oven mitts and pot holders. i love antique knitting needles and crochet hooks. and any type of knitting magazine you're looking to get rid of. i'm always looking for interesting patterns. my favorite color is yellow. i'm into orangey red mixes right now (see below).

i'm allergic to bleu cheese. i don't really like the color red unless it's an orangy red mix. i'd prefer you just ask to make sure. i really don't care for the colors purple or pink. kitchshy things. people who are dishonest. plastic needles of any kind. i'm not really into other crafts except the ones i listed above. i hate anything neon. white chocolate and anything black liqourice are a no no for me.

i like fabrics along the lines of civil war, daisey prints, ditsey prints, and roses of all sizes. my favorite colors as for fabrics are chocolate browns, yellows, creams, and turkey reds. no neons or very garish colors please!

and a note about flaking .... i'm not.... just trying to juggle everything in my life as i'm getting a new life together with my new husband....thanks to anyone with patience ot there......!
