EDIT March 27: I'm really sorry to do this, but I have had to edit the dates previously posted for this swap. Sign up deadline is now April 27th (previously the 7th) with the send by delayed as well. I debated deleting the swap, but @AZMom875 suggested this might work better.

Blind date with a book - destash!

For this swap, you will be sending one book from your book stash to your partner. With a twist.

This is blind date with a book, so you cannot know the title or author of the book you are sending, but you will add a few lines of description of the plot in the comments below.

When you sign up, list a very brief description of 3 different books - not using titles, authors or character names - in the comments below. Be prepared to mail one of these books out to your partner! When partners are assigned, contact your partner via swap-bot PM and tell them which book they are interested in - book 1, 2 or 3. Then send them that book (as long as you don't include extras, you can use media mail for this - but if you include even a bookmark extra, books aren't to be sent media mail.).

You are rating on if your partner sends you a book, not if you have already read it, if you like it, ect.

Very important - send books in good condition - the books shouldn't have any stains or water marks, no strong smells, books need to have all pages attached to the spine and a front and back cover. But used books are ok, and former library books are allowed. Paper back or hard cover.

Media mail can be a very slow way to send, so please give your partner's book a little extra time to arrive. Even though this is within the USA, it could take 8-10 weeks. (Yeah, it's that slow.) Any package marked 'media mail' is subject to inspection, and some post offices are pickier than others, so please be sure not to include extras if you send via Media Mail.
