Little "things" that bring me joy: Hoppy taw's , super balls (yes the grade school bouncy rubber balls), Hacky Sacks, Chinese jump rope, metal jax, marbles, small collectable erasers, stickers, grape hubba bubba bubble gum, bento boxes, paper dolls, Gingham's, face cards, ribbon, all sorts of textured paper , Lego's, sound dampening ear plugs, miniatures of all kinds, buttons, google eyes, odds and ends for endless crafting possibilities. Snail mail - little bits of thoughtfulness.
Themes I gravitate toward: Robots, pirates, ninjas, zombies, action figures, princess stuff, Jem, Holly Hobbie, Strawberry Shortcake, Monchichi, Sanrio,
Shows I love, love, love: Masterpiece theater's Downton Abbey, The Walking Dead, Dr. Who, Torchwood, Big Bang Theory, Psych, Leverage, The Muppet Show
Top favorite movies: The court Jester, Slipper and the Rose, Sense and Sensibility, Labyrinth, Pride and Prejudice, The Importance of Being Earnest, Star Trek (the new one), Alice in Wonderland (all of them), Cinderella, and Clue
I love all colors, I believe they have certain places they belong, some more than others. My favorite color for most of my childhood was royal purple. I still love the color, just don't want everything plastered in it.
Favorite Master Artist: Vincent Van Gogh
Other Art appreciation joys: Sanrio, Terry Jones, Brian Froud Gargoyles- Michael Parkes, Kodomo I enjoy reading Terry Pratchett books when I can.
I listen to a variety of music. Most currently have been listening to Mr. Blue Sky by ELO. And Adele
Hubby is half Chinese, I took a few classes of Russian in College. I have an appreciation of all cultures, although do not claim to know a lot of any particular culture, so I'm constantly learning new things.
I love to crochet, sew, felt craft, paint, and work with clay.
I also play some PC games: Sid Myers Civilization V, jewel quest, scrabble, and puzzle games
I love the smell when it rains, I love warm and cool weather (Spring and Fall) Despise being freezing and can't handle being too hot, makes me a bit of a climate control hog and love the indoors, unless it is spring or fall. I will then dance in the rain or run into a pile of leaves gleefully.
I'm a SAHM of 5 two eldest are boys that are also homeschooled. Daughter child 3 is moving on to 2nd grade at the brick and mortar school. Eldest will soon be 12 and youngest is 4 months. We have an eclectic mix in our family. Second child is a heart child (has undergone 3 open heart surgeries) He is also hyper active ADHD and autistic. Eldest was born with TEF and has asthma, severe eczema, and many food allergies.

Oh, I am absolutely smitten with your storyboard mini-'zine!! Your illustrations are fantastic and I am in awe of your ability to capture facial expressions and body language, (not to mention the fact hat you found the time to create such a great piece!) Thanks again for extending the offer to swap with me; I'd love to swap again. <3<3<3 ps. I will be sure to put the paper treasures to good use. :o)
Awesomesauce! I'm so happy to hear that the "storyboard of my Life" mini-'zine arrived safely and that you liked it! :o) Thanks again for including me; I'm totally looking forward to reading yours and would love to swap again sometime too! Cheers! Ainslie
If you have special themes for the swaps you will prefere just send me a message.
I hope you have fun in my group :)
Lisa, the "I sent it...you made it" ATC is absolutely incredible. I'm very impressed with the embedded cogs, and with the way you dealt with the melted "paper"...which is actually a piece of a Tyvek envelope! Beautiful job!
