I dabble in a variety of crafts - not sure if I am good at any of them but I do have fun! I have been a scrapbooker for YEARS, I taught myself how to crochet and mainly do dishcloths and silly things for my dogs, I like making Christmas ornaments out of clay, I like to make art out of non-conventional items like making faux wrought iron sculptures out of toilet paper rolls and using pizza boxes as canvases. My latest obsession I was introduced to by a good friend is art journaling!
I honestly love all genres of music - my boyfriend is very proud of his Scottish heritage and has introduced me to bagpipe music and it's pretty awesome!
But my favorite genre of music is anything "bluesy" - if that is even a real word! I love listening to the real old stuff like Robert Johnson and Son House, then onto the 1950's with Muddy Water, Howlin Wolf etc... onto more recent stuff - Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Cray and finally today all the alternative artists singing the blues - Delta Rae and my obsession right now - ZZ Ward!
I have been so busy the past 5 years going back to college and building a business that I no longer have time for pleasure reading. I could have been considered a real book worm because I carried a book around with me everywhere and read at any chance I could get. My favorite genres were historical fiction and biographies. What I'm striving for now is to re-read all the Harry Potter books. I've seen all the movies probably 15 times each so want to re-read the books to remember everything that was not in the movies!
I don't have cable anymore - just a streaming player with a few paid channels and mainly free channels. I like to start a series and watch it from start to finish. I also tend to be in the middle of several series! I've become a PBS junkie - Downton Abbey (can't believe it's over) Polkark, Home Fires, etc... historical fiction I guess you could call it
My favorite color is green. Fall is my favorite season. New Years Eve/Day and Valentines Day are my favorite "holidays". I love tea, whether loose leaf or tea bags. I love all flavors as well, I haven't come across a flavor yet that I didn't like
Since I'm so new to this, I honestly can!t think of anything that I would dislike enough right now to list.
Good Themes for me: cows (yes cows), dogs, cats (we just got a kitten born end of July 2016, we named him Thackery Binx from Hocus Pocus) flamingos, koala bears, sunflowers, trees, mountains (anything nature based really)
I am exploring my spirituality and lean toward Wicca/Paganism/earth-based "religions" and would love anything based around those concepts!
