Hello from behind the screen 👩‍💻. A little about me: I have two awesome teen kids and am married. I picked the name CherryBlossomLady because I used to live near the Potomac River which is lined with cherry blossom trees. 🌸

I live in Gainesville, VA which is 30 miles west of DC. Washington D.C. is the national Capitol of the USA 🇺🇸 and brimming with wonderful museums, galleries and theater opportunities. I love going out to see ANYTHING creative on the stage. Live music 🎶, plays and opera, and dance 💃🏻 fill me with joy!

I love to craft, read 📖, play the 🎹 piano, 🎤 sing... I am really drawn to random, bohemian eclectic-ness that just sort of "works" once it is all blended together with embellishments and sentiments. I am a total museum and art 🖼 gallery junkie. I love to travel and take family vacations.

I love chatty, artsy letters, where the sender includes a few things to share with the receiver that were used in the letter. The kind of letters you have to sit down with a cup of tea ☕️ at the table to really enjoy, and are worth reading several times to make sure you haven't missed anything... ahhhh. Bliss.

I really love tea- interesting flavors, oolong, asam, fruity herbals, black, red, green, white, you name it. Republic of Tea canisters (i probably have 15-20 flavors on hand at any given time), Fortnum & Mason, Kusmi, David’s Tea are some of my faves. I have all kinds though.

But I really don't appreciate receiving wrinkled, old, regifted tea bags. We Must Respect the Tea! Please only share teas with me that are new, well packaged, and that you love too.

I really, really love Jesus. I have totally given my heart to Christ, and I want my life and interaction with others to be an extension of Our Father's inexhaustible Love and Mercy for all of us. I am trying to be a true, faithful, orthodox Catholic, and I love to share the Holy Rosary and the Veil with friends. I am not perfect, and I make (a lot of) mistakes, but I am trying to meet the challenges of everyday life with honor and integrity, and be what He has called me to be.

I love all music 🎶 but if it has lyrics that are explicit, then it is a no for me. Doesn't mean i won't like other songs by the artist, but I stay away from cussing and sexually explicit stuff. Though I admit I do cuss from time to time... jazz, orchestras, symphony, opera, a little pop, some classic rock, folk, christian pop, bluegrass, anything with great harmonies... :) I like For King and Country, Hozier, Sara Barielles, IL Volo, Andrea Bocelli, LP, Borns, Third Story — just to give you a feeling for my musical tastes. I Love receiving playlists in happy mail if you are also into these genres. I WILL listen and I Will reply back if the tunes are awesome. 🎵🎶💕❤️🎵🎶

Any movie 🎥 that inspires, makes me believe in love, kindness, beauty, good humans— that is my kind of movie 🍿. I also like action, comedies, drama, and mystery, but nothing too scary, no blood and gore, and no demons please. Aaaaas yoooooouuuu wiiiiiisshhhh!!! I love getting movie and binge worthy tv show recommendations in letters and happy mail, just include a short blip on WHYYYYYY. Thank you!

Hand made crafts take A LOT OF TIME to make, so I always appreciate the effort. Anything I can't use, I will give away. That said, I appreciate people looking at my profile when selecting goodies. I really LOVE decorated envelopes and matching stationary sets- even handmade sets when reading letters from friends.

🛑 Dislikes: Plain white envelopes and plain paper or lined notebook paper for stationary...unless they are vintage and you have altered them somehow. I look at these things like a canvas that need to be decorated with your style- whatever that may be. Collage, stickers, drawings, paint, washi, etc... anything to jazz up the appearance of plain anything is requested.

Anything that smells of cigarette smoke, has pet hair on it, is kind of dirty, anything Satanic, Voo-doo, witchy, gratuitous gore, hyper sexualized anything, purposefully anti-Christian or anti-Life, etc.

No Dollar tree or dime store face or spa products please. These go into the trash so it is a waste of money to send them to me.

No regifted tea bags- only new fresh tea in sealed bags that you have tried before and you believe is good

Hand made embellishments and flat multi-matted sentiments and die cuts are something I adore receiving.

Nice, unique, stickers for crafting are loved, but reward stickers, not so much. Fancy dollar tree stickers are good so long as they don't necessarily LOOK like dollar tree stickers (if you know what I mean).

I LOVE good quality what tape samples.

Unopened high quality teas (the word artificial should not appear on the ingredients list).

Cool, good quality PCs depicting flowers, art, angels, Anything Catholic, cherry blossoms, Americana, stars, butterflies, hummingbirds, and just pretty images in general. I love hand made 4 x 6 PCs with stitching or neat media so long as they can be mailed without an envelope.
