Since I am a random person I have lots of things started. I am creative and I like to try new things. I enjoy doing collages BUT I am also into becoming more simple and not having a lot of STUFF. So I like to give things away and I don't think collages are something a lot of people appreciate. Collages are more therapeutic art for me :) update 11/2011... I love collages! I have found a way to channel that love (where did that line come from?) Friendship Books. I really ENJOY making and trading FBs! And with that comes FUN snailmail too. Whoo Hoo!

• Watching movies and television is not one of my favorite things. When you do both of those you have to not talk and pay attention. I do watch some TV but mostly to be with my husband and fortunately I do like most of the shows he chooses to watch. So when the show is on...he calls me to watch.
• We remodeled our home so it would be an open floor plan. I can now do crafts, surf the web, cook or whatever and still be with my husband as he watches TV.
• Candles are on my "no no" list for safety reasons. I have left TOO many burning at night when we have gone to bed. So I have told myself...no more candles for Cathy!

I have been reading other profiles and I understand how important it is to have lots of suggestions...one of my fellow swappers had a VERY vague profile and it was very difficult to figure out what to send...but really I don't consider myself a picky person...but I'll give ya ideas! (try to). Of course keep in mind this list is in no means limited to what is written... if you have something not mentioned and you think it is kewl...send it on...

• I try to be GREEN so if you have an old watch or anything broken that you think I could use in my collages...send it on. Check out your junk drawer...I bet there is something in there I would LOVE!

• scrap booking supplies (I use in my collages)

• Fabric pieces or notions of any kind

• card stock (any color)

• old greeting cards or postcards (used okay) (it doesn't have to be OLD-I am using them in my creations...if you wish cut out the personal stuff BUT please don't throw you cards in the trash...send them to me!)

• teas or drink mixes...not really my cup of tea... unless it is old or has a cool label than I could us it in a collage
• stickers (foam ones are ICKY! They are bad for the environment too!)
• Please no Disney or commercial themed items... or camouflage or hunting themes (I have NEVER been able to watch Bambi!)... I'd rather have something from your junk drawer

If you are a smoker or live with people that smoke I CANNOT receive a swap from you. I am sorry BUT I CANNOT do smoke smell. The dryer sheet makes it worse! If you are paired up with me, please send me a message. We will figure something out. I will try to get you hooked up with someone else or we will have to do a "pass". I will certainly rate you with a 5 and a heart if you send me a message and do NOT send me something smelly via snail mail!
