My name is Evette. I love to crochet and have been crocheting for many years. My grandma taught me when I was 8 years old!

My husband and I have 4 kids, ages 24, 22, 18, and 13. I work in the technology department at a private Christian high school.

I am trying to teach myself to quilt. I have made lots of quilt blocks but so far only 3 quilts. Not very good at it yet.

I am excited to join some swaps so I can share my love for crafting with others. I love bright colors and varigated yarn. My very favorite color is red. If you are making me a granny square or quilt block, I love bright colors.

• Worsted weight yarn (bright colors also variegated colors)
• Crochet hooks (never can have too many)
• Granny squares (any size)
• I LOVE pressed pennies!!
• Touristy Postcards from where you live.
• Anything with foxes on it. I think they are so cute.
• Cookbooks (especially those half-size ones they sell in line at the grocery store)
• Blank 4x6 recipe cards
• Keychains
• Fridge magnets
• ATC's (new found fun thing for me)
• Embroidered patches from interesting place, especially Boy Scout patches from your local council.
• Any fun paper, wall paper samples, or what-have-you that I can play with on my Sizzix Big Shot. I only have a couple of dies but am having fun with it.
• Anything from my Amazon.com wish list (see link above)
• My favorite candies are gummies. I also love chocolate of any kind, and anything Reese's.

Things with a cigarette smoke odor. I am allergic, so if you smoke, please include a fabric softener (dryer) sheet in your envelope. It helps a lot to absorb the smell.

Dotie dolls, I am just not into them.

(I used to have ATC's on this list, but have since discovered they are really fun!)

I was hoping not to make a section like this but I think it's better that people are aware.

I have a new hobby! I just got a Sizzix Big Shot. I only have a couple of dies but I think it is fun.

Any tips would be great! Where to find inexpensive dies, fancy paper, cardstock, etc.
