Favorite Crafts

knitting, jewelry making (hemp), photography, painting, drawing and slowly learning crocheting and sewing (I need to fix my reputation when it comes to destroying sewing machines:-P).

About Me

A dark heated girl, with the love for literature, crafting and music.

Most people call me a music, craft and literature geek. Perhaps because I'm a DJ, flutist, Etsy seller, book shop assistant and literature columnist.

My favourite colours are black, white, green and red, but I don't have any colours I really dislike. As long as it's a nice colour-combo, I'm not picky. :-)

Some of my interests are; music, manga, comics, ps2, literature, knitting, photography, jewelry making, blogging, politics, reading, tea, coffee, crafting and swapping.

I'm one of those who always have something to do and no days are alike.

When it comes to music, I listen mostly to metal, rock, celtic and classical music, but as long as I'm spared for country, dance, Britney Spears and similar, I'm quite satisfied.

I'm a freelance musician as well and I play flute, organ. piano, guitar and cello. With a father who plays organ, a mother who loves jazz and classical music and friends who are headbangers, I'm "doomed" to be influenced when it comes to choosing what instrument to learn next. Now am I wondering whether I could learn saxophone or Scottich bagpipe.

I'm also a film junkie and is in love with older movies, esp. German horror movies from the 20's and 30's. I'm in general a sucker for indie movies, but now and then I do see block busters. It just depends on the plot.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm one of those who's always got something to do. I've also got a couple of long term projects. Some of them are; making an international quilt using fat quaters, an ABC using used postage stamps (like A is for Argentina, B is for Brazil, C is for China), a geographic/cultural book using postcards.

Sometimes my mail box feel a bit lonely, but hopefully that will change soon. I'm also searching for things to my new flat, so anything from a couple of tea bags to canvas art is very velcome. :-P

NOTE. Please do not send me anything with liquirice (sp?), as I'm allergic. Though, if you send me something with it, I can always give it to my mother, as she loves it. :-)

Wish list

To people living in the UK; I would love to recieve Milky Way Magic Stars, any type of Walker's potato chips or Marks & Spencer tea. You would seriously save my day, as I've been living in Scotland for two years and after moving back to Norway, I really miss those things. Even if it's only one tea bag or one packet of chocolate/potato chips.

Now, the wishlist.

A; address labels, anime, art posters, amigurumi (they're so adorable and I'm not good enough to crochet to make them myself)

B; beads for hemp jewelry and/or kandi bracelets, bottle caps, board games, bookmarks, blank journals

C; candy (esp. chocolate), coffee, coasters, Christmas ornaments, coin purses, comics, cartoons, canvas artwork (made by you), calendars (I often use last years calendars to decorate the walls in my flat; cutting them nicely out an frame them)

D; DVD's, drawing/painting supplies, dream catchers

F; fat quaters of cotton, food recipes, fridge magnets, folklore inspired things, fingerless gloves, flip flops (EU size 41)

G; gift tags, grocery bags, gel pens, ghost stories, guitar picks

H; hot drink mixes, hats

I; Instant noodles, incense

K; key rings

L; leg warmers, letter sets, lip balms

M; manga, mix CD's, mittens, make up (only animal friendly/organic/fair trade), magnetic poetry, music/movie/goth/fashion/tattoo/craft magazines

P; photos, postage stamps, pressed pennies, post cards, playing card decks, paper back books, Pokémon cards

R; ribbons, rosaries, rubber stamps, reusable coffee cup sleeves

S; souvenir things, sheet music for flute/guitar/piano/organ/cello, shot glasses, scarfs, solid hand soap, souvenir kitchen towels, stickers, socks, shoe laces, stuffies

T; tea, teddy bears, tiaras, thimbles, toys

U-Z; unique buttons, wine corks, yarn, zines

Family Section

Since there's some swaps related to family members and such, I figured out I could give my family a section (with a list of their likes) on my profile.

Father; WW2 naval history, dogs (is the owner of a Collie), Dire Straits (the band), T-shirts (size L), Morgan Kane/Tex Willer (comics/books)

Mother; Coffee & tea, cats, knitting, ethnic things to decorate with, bath & body products

Little sister (aged 11); Anything with animals, jewelry (preferly nickel-free, as she's allergic).

Little sister (aged 8); Anything My Little Pony, stuffed animals, anything pink (the colour), jewelry (preferly nickel-free, as she's allergic)

Little brother (aged 5); Anything with something that has a motor, but esp. trailers and John Deere tractors, anything with super-heroes like Spider-man/Superman, anything Star Wars, anything "Bob The Builder" or "Fireman Sam"

Other random likes

yoga, red wine, meditation, bats, art, castles, cemeteries, coffee bars, dancing, dragons, fantasy, fetish, gigs, history, individuality, literature, graffiti, pin ups, traveling, fall weather, pin ups, sugar skulls, Star Wars, Pokémon, Super Mario, Zelda, PS2, N64, Nintendo DS, DJ'ing, creative writing, photography, tattoos

I rate the same day I get the packages, if possible, so if you haven't recieved a rating, I probably haven't gotten anything from you.

I do send my packages (not the flat mail) via surface mail (to save some cash), so it can take some time for the package to arrive. If it haven't arrived at a decent time (max. 2 months after the send date), please PM me before rating, so I can get the chance to re-send.

I do send my swaps, so it's probably just a question about time, as the surface mail can be really slow from time to time.

I'm also open to private swaps, so feel free to PM me.

Comment: well, i'm sorry, but i'm forced to give you this rating. actually i see, that it's not only me, that hasn't got anything from you... according to what you said, you re-send my package, but i'm guessing, it was a lie... sad, very sad... well, i'l change the rating, if i get ANYTHING in the future...
