Favorite Crafts

knitting, jewelry making (hemp), photography, painting, drawing and slowly learning crocheting and sewing (I need to fix my reputation when it comes to destroying sewing machines:-P).

About Me

A dark heated girl, with the love for literature, crafting and music.

Most people call me a music, craft and literature geek. Perhaps because I'm a DJ, flutist, Etsy seller, book shop assistant and literature columnist.

My favourite colours are black, white, green and red, but I don't have any colours I really dislike. As long as it's a nice colour-combo, I'm not picky. :-)

Some of my interests are; music, manga, comics, ps2, literature, knitting, photography, jewelry making, blogging, politics, reading, tea, coffee, crafting and swapping.

I'm one of those who always have something to do and no days are alike.

When it comes to music, I listen mostly to metal, rock, celtic and classical music, but as long as I'm spared for country, dance, Britney Spears and similar, I'm quite satisfied.

I'm a freelance musician as well and I play flute, organ. piano, guitar and cello. With a father who plays organ, a mother who loves jazz and classical music and friends who are headbangers, I'm "doomed" to be influenced when it comes to choosing what instrument to learn next. Now am I wondering whether I could learn saxophone or Scottich bagpipe.

I'm also a film junkie and is in love with older movies, esp. German horror movies from the 20's and 30's. I'm in general a sucker for indie movies, but now and then I do see block busters. It just depends on the plot.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm one of those who's always got something to do. I've also got a couple of long term projects. Some of them are; making an international quilt using fat quaters, an ABC using used postage stamps (like A is for Argentina, B is for Brazil, C is for China), a geographic/cultural book using postcards.

Sometimes my mail box feel a bit lonely, but hopefully that will change soon. I'm also searching for things to my new flat, so anything from a couple of tea bags to canvas art is very velcome. :-P

NOTE. Please do not send me anything with liquirice (sp?), as I'm allergic. Though, if you send me something with it, I can always give it to my mother, as she loves it. :-)

Wish list

To people living in the UK; I would love to recieve Milky Way Magic Stars, any type of Walker's potato chips or Marks & Spencer tea. You would seriously save my day, as I've been living in Scotland for two years and after moving back to Norway, I really miss those things. Even if it's only one tea bag or one packet of chocolate/potato chips.

Now, the wishlist.

B; beads for hemp jewelry and/or kandi bracelets, bottle caps, board games, bookmarks, blank journals

Family Section

Since there's some swaps related to family members and such, I figured out I could give my family a section (with a list of their likes) on my profile.

Little sister (aged 8); Anything My Little Pony, stuffed animals, anything pink (the colour), jewelry (preferly nickel-free, as she's allergic)

Little brother (aged 5); Anything with something that has a motor, but esp. trailers and John Deere tractors, anything with super-heroes like Spider-man/Superman, anything Star Wars, anything "Bob The Builder" or "Fireman Sam"

Other random likes

Swaps

I rate the same day I get the packages, if possible, so if you haven't recieved a rating, I probably haven't gotten anything from you.

I do send my packages (not the flat mail) via surface mail (to save some cash), so it can take some time for the package to arrive. If it haven't arrived at a decent time (max. 2 months after the send date), please PM me before rating, so I can get the chance to re-send.

I do send my swaps, so it's probably just a question about time, as the surface mail can be really slow from time to time.

I'm also open to private swaps, so feel free to PM me.

Comment: The swap was for 3 recipes, you only sent 1. I'm rating a 5 anyway, because I know Kristin is a good swapper and either misunderstood the swap or "lacks original recipes" like her email stated.
Response: Thanks for the rating. I'll check my recipe books and check if I find any more. :-)
