24/7/09 I was in the post office today and read a notice that upset and annoyed me. A postal worker had filled a van full of sacks of mail from all over the area earlier on this month and then broke down. The van has only just been picked up again this week, still full of the mail. This may well affect some of my travelling postcards, but I'm not sure. I do hope that this won't affect my ratings.

I am a single Mother of one mischievous six year old girl and I live in the UK not far from the Derbyshire Peak District.

I can't wear anything silver, platinum or that silvery look, my skin tone is too pale and it looks wishy washy on me. I do like gold things though :)

My favourite colours are lilacs and yellows. I'm not really a pink person.

I love tea and drink it on its own or with a slice of lemon, but I don't drink coffee. I do like hot chocolate.

I have an intolerance to lavender, it gives me a migraine. I especially like vanilla. I don't like bath bombs, or bubble bath. I'm fine with shower gels.

I always send out my swaps with plenty of time before the final sending date. I have noticed with a few postcards I have sent just recently, some are arriving quickly and others are taking their time (one on another swap site has taken 52 days to arrive), so please give plenty of time and contact me if you haven't received, before rating. That would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I enjoy cross stitch, blackwork, beadwork, knitting, card making, gardening and reading. I'm just getting into ATC's, I can see how they can become addictive.

I also collect postcards. You might notice that I am in a lot of postcard swaps right now. I'm also an avid postcrosser, I love receiving postcards from all over the world, it's great fun looking at how long some postcards take to arrive. I sent one back in December, it took 35 days to arrive; I sent one the other day and it took 2 days to arrive.
