Hi. I live in a town in Connecticut that is situated on the coast. I love to take walks every morning. I enjoy taking my bike for a spin around the marina's. I am just beginning to play tennis. I'm very much a novice player. :) My hobbies are reading, photography and painting (well, anything to do with art.) I love movies (old and new.) I also love to write letters.

I love anything in print. I tend to go back to the classics. (I have two pet finches I've named Atticus Finch and Jem Finch) I've read most of Jane Austin, and Ernest Hemingway. I am also crazy about a good mystery. I recently finished the Grey Whale Inn Mystery series. I think Agatha Christie is one of the best writers. I can not leave out the vampire lit, to which is all the rage now. I have read all the Southern Vampire books, the Queen Betsy books, and of course the Twilight series. And from time to time I enjoy a good romance. I thoroughly enjoyed the Outlander series!

I have a bit of an eclectic taste in music. I love my parents records. I have my own record player, and I listen to them a lot. Anything from the sixties and seventies (less disco) I think is great. But I enjoy the blues, such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. I also enjoy contemporary music too. I think Lady Gaga is crazy, but great. Also, the Killers are on the top played songs in my ipod.

I love anything that I can make with my hands. My absolute favorite is watercolor. It is rather challenge to master, but the paintings are exceptional! I basically love any painting: watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints. I even love to paint my room (it's been many colors over these many years:) I like to sew. Some things come out better than others, but I learn from the others. :) I love my garden. I have much fun putzing around there. I am a bit of a novice embrodier. I have super cute pillow cases on my bed, but I can't quite get that skill to transform to other places. I have made plenty knit hats and scarves for christmas gifts, but can only make croched coasters.

I'm not too much of a TV person. I like House and I haven't missed an episode of Dr Who in the past several years. I rather enjoy watching misc. episodes of random television on hulu. One show I feel I must see is True Blood. I've read all the books, so I became a bit invested in the series. :) I do love an old movie though. That i'm always up for!
