4/27 - I am all caught up on ratings, but pen pal replies will take a little while, but I will respond!!
4/23/2017--Just a heads up, I am currently behind in my ratings due to my boyfriend's hospital stay. I promise I will get everything rated ASAP
I am a 30 something high school teacher. I enjoy crafts, cats, dogs (animal rescue is very near and dear to me) nature and volleyball.
I am new to swap-bot, but have participated in Redditgifts for a few years. I am working on participating in swaps to get my rating up.
I love bright colors, stickers and glitter/sparkle. I also LOVE the US National Parks. I have been to Yellowstone, Glacier, The Tetons and Rocky Mountain and am planning a trip to Acadia for the summer of 2017. I also love anything moose related. I have seen them in Montana a few times (as well as my school's parking lot) and I'm absolutely obsessed!
In terms of a swap-- I will be happy with whatever you want to share with me. I would prefer no religious items, but other than that, I am open to receiving whatever!
I recently bought a Cricut so I'm enjoying paper crafts like cards and also playing with vinyl and painting on fabric.
I also enjoying making just about anything. I have a lot of craft supplies and dabble in a lot of stuff.
I'm trying to become a competent sewer. I just want to be able to do the basics, so I'm working on it.
As I said before I work as a teacher and in animal rescue. I also work as a pet sitter, so I do a LOT of working.
I have two cats who I love and am completely obsessed with.
I really love listening to podcasts. If you have any suggestions for ones you enjoy, please share. I am currently listening to This American Life, The Moth, Stranglers, Stuff Mom Never Told You, Death, Sex and Money, 99% Invisible, Mortified and Stuff You Should Know.
I have a passion for helping animals and for spending as much time with them as I can. I also enjoy caring for a small feral cat colony as well as some local strays.
