Hello, from beautiful southeastern Ohio! :-D I'm 51 years old, I love camping, traveling, playing in the dirt, geocaching, attending Renaissance faires (in costume), reading (especially horror, Greek & Celtic mythology, sci-fi/fantasy, and biographies), crafting, animals, growing houseplants, nature in general, playing World of Warcraft, and spending time with my family and friends :-) I love tea and coffee (and anything chocolate!) I collect cat items, incense, owl items, and love anything with a moon and stars theme. I have three cats (Luna,Charmin, & Buffy) and would love to have a household full of animals (when/if I grow up, I want an ark) I have a very dry, sarcastic, sense of humor, and my friends tell me it's hard to tell when I'm being serious or yanking their chain. really. I'm serious. My favorite colors are greens (especially hunter green), purples, and teals, and I'll read anything I can get my hands on. (Currently reading the Southern Vampire/Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris)
Indigo Girls, Godsmack, Pink Floyd, The Offspring, Hootie & the Blowfish, Nickleback, Clannad, Aerosmith, Adam Ant, Billy Idol (unf!) Grateful Dead, New Age music, and 80's music (think "hair bands"-Bon Jovi, Loverboy, Def Leppard)! I also enjoy musicals and movie soundtracks (so sue me...I see you making 'gag me' motions back there!)
The scarier the better (but not necessarily gory)! :-)"The Sixth Sense", The Rocky Horror Picture Show (I heart Tim Curry), The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Mummy movies, anything Monty Python,"Final Destination", anything with Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., or Brendan Fraser in it!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Law & Order (SVU & CI), House, Bones, Family Guy, Reaper, Two and a Half Men, True Blood, Supernatural, CSI: NY (Carmine Giovinazzo....sigh), Sanctuary, Moonlight, The Big Bang Theory...I watch alot of The Discovery Channel, Travel channel, & Sci/Fi too.....
Crocheting, altered rolos, ATC's, clothes recon, filled matchboxes, tip-ins, Altoid shrines, polymer clay crafts, altered bottle caps, pet crafts, holiday tree ornaments, altered journals, rubber stamping....basically anything but sewing (I ubersuck at that!) I love learning new crafts and techniques! Also, I am always willing to do private swaps--just pm me if you're interested!
PS--I'm wicked with a glue gun :-D
I hate wearing shoes. I believe in karma. I'm an old soul, and I hug trees. If you look up "Capricorn" in the dictionary, my picture will be there. I am an earthy person. I love nuking Peeps in the microwave--yum (looks like a twisted Rorschach test only with warm & gooey goodness!) I can't stand heat, and someday I want to live where it never gets above 80 degrees in the hottest of summer (Washington or Oregon would be lovely!) I love heather, lilacs, and lily-of-the-valley, and I hate it when people are intentionally cruel to other living things (mean people suck!) I love to laugh, and try to find humor in everything (sometimes, it's a stretch!) I have the strangest belly laugh, it's very ...um...distinctive. Sometimes I scare people when I laugh...hell, sometimes I scare myself --but I still love to laugh til I snort. Oh--and I collect rattlesnake tails...if you want me to send you one, just ask--they're quite unique. (I got bunches!) ;-)
Other than laughing, I love sleep. Sleep is good (though not as good as laughing). I've worked a 12-hour swing shift for the last 20 years, and I can't WAIT to retire so I can sleep like normal people, even though I will never be 'normal'. I am also currently working on finishing my Associates Degree in Human Resources. I'm partial to fairies, castles, and dulcimer music, and I am probably the most laid-back, tolerant, person you'll ever meet (if I were anymore laid-back, they'd have to shovel dirt on me!). I love swapping & Swap-bot, and have found many great victims..um...friends here! ;-)
Please, if you do not receive your swap from me, pm me and let me know! I always fulfill my swap obligations, and usually send with a delivery confirmation--except that DC only works for mail within the US! I try to put a lot of love & care into my craft and swap packages, and I definitely want to know if you don't receive it!
I like my men like I like my coffee....ground up and in the freezer.
AND
I used to run with the wolves.....now I nap with the cats.
I'm not picky at all, but I especially adore JellyBelly jellybeans, black teas, hazelnut coffee, Greek Gods & Goddesses, fairies, Autumn (the season), handspun/dyed yarns, owls, cats, ferrets, rubber stamps, stickers, push molds, and anything I can create altered art with (brads, eyelets, charms, large beads--you name it) The only thing I'm not interested in is Dotees, Kawaii stuff, and people that are missing the humor section of their brain. ("Anal, table of one?....")

OMG! True blood the series has totally evolved into it's own entity separating itself from the book. I loved the 2nd season finale, but waiting for the 3rd season is going to SUCK!
