Please use stamps whenever possible, even on packages! I can never get enough stamps! If you are a swap-botter who doesn't collect stamps, please clip the stamps you get from envelopes and send them to me. I will send you some goodies back!
If we're in a stamp swap, please try to pick out ones for me with legible postmarks, where you can read the year or name of the town. I would rather have a current stamp with a legible postmark than a really old or rare one without. Countries I collect are US, China and Russia. Topics I collect are Cats, Finance/Banking and Spaceships/Planets/Stars (all countries).
If you have ANYTHING with a legible June 17 postmark, please send it to me. I will reward you handsomely!
I'm downsizing my belongings right now, so I'm definitely doing fewer swaps, and when I swap "stuff", I am mostly trying to get rid of things, with a few exceptions: tea, makeup, books, bath+body, candy, postage stamps (used and unused), non-touristy postcards.
I collect beautiful postmarks, tasteful used envelopes with pretty handwriting / calligraphy, and current commemorative stamps. If your letter includes these I will be wishing I could give you more hearts.
I LOVE the round hand-stamped postmarks that say the name of your town.
I will probably be happy with anything you send me! I mostly just enjoy opening mail.
Artist / Bookkeeper in NYC. Nearly 30. Child free career girl, but I do have awesome kids in my life to babysit. I'm a colorful minimalist, a postage nerd (love stamps!), and a cat at heart.
I love ALL Written + Stamped Postcards from where you are, or ANY subject you're interested in. Surprise me!
If it's a blank postcard swap, please do not send me touristy postcards unless they are of New York or Ohio! I don't really have a use for them.
I'm not really interested in ad cards- not enough room to write and I feel funny sending them on.
Handmade postcards are fine if you spend time and effort on it: I bring out the postcard boxes to show to friends when they come over, so make sure you're sending me something that you are proud of!
I am not easily offended, at all. If you're holding on to some cards that you're worried will offend someone, write 'em up and send them to me!
Of course, postcards are just as much about what you write on them as the pictures :) I look forward to reading it!
Things I'll love:
Bath and Body
postcards with cats
Postage Stamps- even ones clipped from your junk mail
Anything I can't regularly find in the US
** Hair clips and rubber bands **
Instant heart if you...
-Anything involving candy.
I'm not a picky person at all, generally. But please don't send me:
I would rather get a smaller amount of nicer things than a larger amount of dollar store stuff. So if a swap says "send 10 things" but you only send me one nice one, I will probably be delighted and give you a heart.
I'm looking for someone who is sewing-inclined to sew me a laptop-sized tote bag or backpack with cats on it. I have absolutely zero sewing skill. What I can offer in return are custom drawings (portraits of your family or a watercolor of your home), packages full of papercrafting and other goodies, pretty much anything you like :)
Here's an example of my drawing: A picture I drew of someone's daughter at the beach
