I am a SAHM of 3 girls and a boy ages 5, 7, 9 and 10. My days are spent driving kids where they need to go, planning and cooking meals, doing crafts, geneology research, taking online art journaling and self help courses, shopping on Etsy, planning dinner parties for friends, doing my church duties and everything else that a busy wife and mom can do.

I collect touristy postcards. I am not so much into random postcards of animals, plants, and objects. I love postcards of cityscapes, landscapes, and architecture. I also have no postcards at the moment from Mexico. That totally bums me out because I studied there (in Guadalajara) for a year and I wish I had some postcards to look back at. I also spent a summer traveling around that amazing country. If you send me any postcard I would love you! But a Mexico one would get a long distance hug and kiss! ;)

I AM ALSO BEGINNING A ZINE COLLECTION. IF YOU CREATE THEM OR HAVE ANY THAT YOU WOULDN'T MIND PASSING ON... PLEASE SHARE THEM!!! Something that I would always love to receive (though it's sometimes hard to send unless it's in a box...) would be a plate or bowl. I have a food blog and am always having to photograph the food that I prepare. I currently only have about 4 different types/colors of plates so I feel my photos are getting quite boring. I am working on obtaining a collection of different colored salad or regular sized plates. I really like melamine cute ones like at Target...and of course pretty stoneware or china. Anything that I can photograph food on.

TWILIGHT series, HARRY POTTER BOOKS.... OHHHH... HUNGER GAMES IS ALSO A FAVORITE.... Dystopian and Utopian books in the YPL (young people's library) section of the Library. I have a Kindle and do most of my reading on it... but I still love to curl up with a REAL book. I always love a good travel guide too! I dream of visiting far away places and living abroad. I also love romance novels and women's magazines. I keep teasing my husband that one day I will buy 50 Shades of Grey. He tells me he'd rather that I didn't buy it. I want it. So if anyone has a copy they don't want anymore... you could send it to me. ;)

My favorite Movies- Pride and Prejudice (BBC version and the Kiera Knightly version) as well as Nacho Libre (Jack Black), Emma (Masterpiece Theatre version with Johney Lee Miller)

My favorite TV shows: Downton Abbey, Big Love,Sister Wives, Big Bang Theory, Revolution, Once Upon A Time, NCIS, Law and Order, and British Miniseries...

REGARDING SMASH BOOKS: For the last 8 months I have been drawn into using Smash books for my art journaling and regular journal use. The ones that I make: I like to insert tags, different shaped notecards, foreign looking maps, ticket stubs and quotes/thoughts etc.... I just love to have a lot of texture, and content.
I also would love to do private junk journal/smash book swaps with anyone who is interested!!! Just PM me!

I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter DaySaints (Mormon) so as a member I do not drink Tea or Coffee or anything with alcohol. I also would not appreciate anything pertaining to Satan. I love to take boring mail and make it super cool. When I write my pen pals I like to include a suprise both inside and out. If any one wants to be my pen pal please message me and we can share addresses.

I always send out my swaps on time. I usually get them out at least a week before the swap closes. There are 3 different days in the month that I go to the post office. So some swaps are ready to be mailed weeks before the swap closes and a few are mailed just a few days before it closes. If you do not receive a swap from me... PLEASE send me a private message and let me know it was not received. I will resend after waiting an appropriate amount of time to ensure the mail is not just taking the long route to you. I ask that you give me a chance to get your package to you before rating a 1 or 3. I never give out 1's or 3's when the swapper truly makes an effort to fix a problem. Anyway... so far things have run super smoothly (and hopefully they continue to do so).
