I am a devoted wife; a writer; a poet; an avid consumer of art, accessories, and chocolate; and a globe-trotter...

I have shopped in Paris; museum-hopped in Vienna; climbed a volcano in Guatemala; and had my chakras realigned in Mexico. Throughout it all, I filled journals with doodles, poetry, and found tidbits of fantasy and reality.

Currently reading "The Secret Life of Bees," by Sue Monk Kidd.

I listen to Feist, Amy Winehouse, and Arcade Fire; I have big crushes on Leonard Cohen and on Nick Cave.

I like the tv shows "Dexter," "The Girls Next Door," and "True Blood."

"Blade Runner" is my favourite film of all times, and I quite like M. Night Shyamalan. I loved "Secretary" and "Fur."

I mostly make ATCs, collages of words and images using rubber stamps; oil pastels; markers; ink so deep and dark and lush that my soul craves a drink off the colour, served in a crystal tumbler...

Leather, lace and feathers appeal to me. Darkness, and girlie things. Themes of sexuality; sensuality; and anything that takes us to the edge of love and passion.

I am a pop culture vulture.

I love Blythe; damask patterns; 60s beauty principles; anything from the 20s; calico cats; burlesque and art deco imagery; real black licorice; sour candies; all things pop ink and goth-icky...

Anything that shows originality, wit, quirkiness.

I love people who have the courage of their own convictions. I despise hypocrisy, pretense, lack of humour, and lazy bones.
