I am a 22 year old female from Louisville, Kentucky USA.I am currently finishing up my BA in Psychology. I will be graduating in August and will hopefully be starting graduate school in the fall. I am also working on a minor in English with a concentration in Literature and Medieval Studies. I am in a relationship with my boyfriend whom I have been with for over a year. His name is Alex and he is a boxing coach and part-time Muay Thai instructor as well as corner-man for MMA fights.

I consider myself to be a very open-minded and intelligent person. I suppose I'm a bit out of sorts when it comes to my place in the world. I don't quite seem to be a good fit with the current century. In other words, I and others around me, seem to think that I would be more at home in, perhaps, the Renaissance or the Victorian periods.

I am a fairly shy person and I do require quite a bit of time before I feel comfortable enough to open up to someone. However, I do find that I am very loyal to those that I consider to be my close friends. Though I do try to be nice, I find that I am often disagreeable and difficult to get along with. That, of course, improves as I get to know people. I have a very difficult time trusting people which means that I don't always talk about very personal or deep concepts with someone until I get to know him/her.

I enjoy philosophical discussions and chats about good literature. Of course, I am not above discussing music, movies, or other aspects of daily life. I love to discuss current events although I do tend to stay away from politics as it does cause quite a bit of problems. I tend to be very opinionated when it comes to certain topics and I am not afraid to voice my opinion even if it doesn't agree with the majority.

I love to write poetry and stories although I don't always feel comfortable sharing what I write. As with most things about myself, my stories and poetry tend to take on a very dark tone. I suppose I write that way because that's how I view the world.

I am not as difficult or as aloof as I sound. I do have quite an odd/off the wall sense of humor. I suppose it can be described as dark. I am also spontaneous most of the time and can be quite random. For some strange reason, I have an obsession with grave robbers. I also have a mad and possibly unhealthy obsession with vampires. I suppose I should also admit my obsession for Alice in Wonderland.

My hobbies include: reading, listening to music, knitting, doing various crafty things (mostly relating to paper crafts),boxing, jiu-jitsu.

I have three cats named Bandit, Misty, and Shadow. Bandit is a black and white tom-cat who still thinks he's a kitten and Misty and Shadow are both females. Shadow is the youngest at about a year old. She's all black, as her name implies, and his very affectionate. She's kind of scattered...she probably has feline ADD. I also have a Boxer puppy named Buster. He's the newest addition to our family and he's approximately 4 months old.

At my boyfriend's house, I have a lazy gray and white Ragamuffin cat named Mischief. He only answers to Kitty-Cat, though. We also have a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix named Crooked Tail.
