Comment: Hey neighbor! Yes, we stay indoors in the A/C a lot these days! Luckily, it hasn't gotten over 90 too many days. We started a small container garden and I "tend" it in the am and sometimes the evening. But in the evening, the mosquitos are out!
Response: I keep telling the spiders outside they need to take care of the mosquitos, but they aren't listening to me lol The container gardening is so awesome! I hope you get lots of tasty foods :)
Comment: Thank you for the resend, it is appreciated!
Response: Well that sucks, I didn't use my itty bitty ones to make sure I met the penny sized requirements. But I will send you others in the next couple days; I don't want you to feel like I ignored the requirements!
Comment: Awesome letter! No I don’t know of any good movies released recently. I’m down for Princess Bride anytime though. I have 8 cats on the farm. They are all altered and adopted from rescue. 😀 Nice brown paper! & Very nice washi tape. Thank you
Response: Oh thank you so much! Princess Bride is a great movie!! And wow 8 cats!
Comment: Hi Ginny! Thanks for the A to Z share! I enjoyed reading your write-up and I have a bit of book hoarding issue as well! Never too many books, just not enough bookshelves! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! 😉
Comment: Thank you so much for your card and the story of your animals! we mostly had cats but we had a goldfish once that kept trying to get away. It would jump out of his little tank and we would have to keep putting him back. He jumped out one time too many and no one was there to save him. We never had more fish after that.
Response: Aw poor little goldie, he was an adventurer...much to his demise!
Comment: Hey neighbor! The llama note card is spectacular! Thanks! Yes, our summers are probably the longest and the worst season! I like fall and spring too, but winter is a strange favorite these days!
Response: The llama card rocks! lol Thanks for the heart, and as summer creeps up on us, may your A/C be nice and cool this year!
Comment: The tea house near us closed. My Mister really likes to try new teas. All I drank was tea until about 3 years ago when I randomly started drinking coffee and now its a staple of my everyday life. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed coffee after hating it for - well - ever! haha. Thank you for the notecard. :D
Response: Aw that is such a shame the tea house closed! They are so relaxing and fun to go to!
Comment: Loved your neatly organized list! I've seen 31 of the movies on your list, another 9 are on my to-be-watched list, and you introduced me to 6 new things that I want to watch now! A typo tricked me into thinking I needed to see "Crazy Witch Asians"... that sounds amazing! :)
Response: LOL oh man I did not even catch that typo! But yay I'm glad you added some new ones! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the very nice note. That sounds like quite a gathering. Out family has gotten smaller and is more widely dispersed so our typical Hasted dinner is between six and twelve. The reliable, four, besides my wife and I, are our friend and her three now almost five-year-olds.
Response: Oh it gets wild lol. And wow, three almost 5 year olds? That's scary! lol
Comment: Thank you so much! I love all of the green things you chose and will have fun using them in my projects. The envelope was so fun! I thought it came like that until I opened it up. What a beautiful transformation! Thank you again!
Response: Wow that got to you fast! And yay so glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the envelope compliment, I was really worried it wasn't good enough lol. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and tapes! My daughter thought this card *must* be for her birthday (which was last Friday, haha) so she got the joy of opening it, but we enjoyed reading it together. Have a great week!
Response: Aw that is so sweet! I am happy to know that it did in fact at least brighten her week to open it!!
Comment: Thank you for your interesting last. There were several things on there that I also need to work on especially my bedroom. Please don't forget to put your swap but user name on your package next time.
Response: My SB name is on the top portion of the list :P I wasn't sure if I would run out of room at the bottom, so I included it as part of the title. And I'm glad I'm not the only one with a messy room! lol Thanks for the heart :)
Comment: Thank you Ginny, for the cute bookmark! Wizzard of oz..right? I like the sparkly shoes anyway! :P Just an FYI though, the protective sleeve that the bookmark was in nudged it's way partially out of the envie! I guess because its plastic and slightly pointed. Luckily it stayed in enough to make it to me! :) Maybe a piece of tape along the outer edges would help secure everything!
Response: Oh no! I did not even think about the sharp corners of the sleeve! Thanks for letting me know! And I am glad you liked the bookmark, and thank you for the heart :) Happy Readings
Comment: Hi Ginny and thank you for the great ATC " Time Flies", it really is lovely! What a good way to use paint chips.. I can't resist them when I'm in DIY places and have an embarassingly large collection; you've shown me a use for them :o) Love the little butterfly and the way you did the title too. Hope all is well in GA!
Response: You are very welcome, and I am so happy that you liked the card!! Paint chips are addictive, we need a support group lol
Comment: Thanks for the yummy soup recipes!!! I love soup in the winter and I LOVE crockpot recipes!!! I can totally see that adding more cheese to the broccoli soup might have made it pretty thick!!! Thanks again for the great swap!
Response: You are very welcome! Thank you for the heart. This swap was so much fun. I love crockpot recipes too, although I don't use them as much now that I moved back home with my family. Every so often I hear my crockpot calling to me from the cabinet.....
Comment: I just came across your unopened letter in my mail pile! How did I miss it originally? So sorry for the delay in rating. I really enjoyed reading through your list; I can't wait to put many of these on my list of ones I want to read. Some of these definitely are right up my alley. And it was lovely seeing Little Women on your list as well; I shared that book with my mother when I was young, so it has a special place in my heart too. Thanks again!
Response: Lol that is so funny! I thought about this swap last night! Glad you found some new ones to possibly read :)
Comment: Wow! You've read quite a lot from the list that I haven't read. Sorry you couldn't get into the book you chose. Sounds like an interesting concept, but sometimes it takes more than that to get into a book. Hope you start to love it or move on to an awesome read you like more. Thanks for sharing!
Response: No problem! Thank you for hosting this fun swap :D And thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the fun ATCs. I particularly like the autumn leaf one. Very cool paper prints. Thanks so much for joining my swap! <3
Response: You're welcome! And I'm glad you liked the autumn leaf one! Me and the glue were fighting lol. And some of it got under a leaf, which gave it a slight 3D look, which I thought was cool...hopefully it survived the transport!
Comment: Hello Ginny,
Thank you for sharing an interesting book with me through the page and through your note. I am not a vampire reader and so this is probably not a series I would pick out to read. However, I am a teen novel reader and so if you introduced me to another teen novel I might be interested. This might be a series I would introduce to a friend who is into vampires.
Response: OH I have a ton of ideas :) If you click my GoodReads link above you will get a ton of suggestions from my reads :) Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Yes, it was a big word, but you did OK! Just think how you would have fit my other word on....pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis! hehehe.
Thanks for the pretty ATC. Oh! And I forgot to say how much I like the card you sent it in!!! That will be going in my smashbook!
Response: Oh wow, that word would have been quite a booger! lol And this is horrible but which notecard did I mail it to you in?
Comment: Wow!! Sounds yummy.... but the title calls it "Honey Bourbon Chicken"... yet there's no Bourbon in the recipe??? Did ya leave it out?
Response: No! That's the neat part of it. If you go to the mall Chinese restaurants and try their bourbon chicken, this will taste exactly like that. I found it on PInterest called honey bourbon chicken, but looking back at the original blog, its honey sesame. I call it Bourbon bc it tastes like the one from the mall lol. Here's the blog http://www.tablefortwoblog.com/2012/02/21/crockpot-honey-bourbon-chicken/I just adapted mine a wee small bit. The comments also explain the lack of bourbon in it. Apparently it was created on Bourbon Street in Louisiana, so the name stuck. Interesting either way. And yummy :) (Apparently links don't work in responses. oops)
Comment: Mail main characters, crushes, same thing many times! Thanks for your list! The only one I knew was Cassel Sharpe, and I read White Cat specifically because he was on a "great male main character" list! So I hope I get to know other faves of yours soon :-)
Response: Oh if you liked Cassel you'll like some of the others too :) Thanks for the heart and rating :)
Comment: Just love how you made my stocking!! I will be hanging it on our tree... Along with my sons 15 year old similarly made (but not as pretty) stocking... Everything was so nice thanks so much...happy holidays! PS ... Wonderful things inside my stocking were great...I will happily use them all!!
Response: Haha, that's funny. I'm also so glad you liked the stocking! It was so much fun making it for you. And hope you get some good use out of the items I sent along :)
Response: This was mailed as I even pm'd you about being nervous about mailing it. International mail takes a little bit longer. Since this is your first swap, Swap-Bot courtesy typically calls for communication before rating a 1. I wish you would have done that so we could have worked it out. I will re-send this postcard to you today. 11/13/12 ////11/16/12: PMs from me and swap coordinator are still unread. She has not been on since 11/13. ////11/19: Thank you for changing the rating to a 5. I'm assuming you received the original postcard. You should receive the resend in 2-3 weeks as well :(
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful letter you sent me...I have never read any books by your Rockstar, and now will definitely do so. This was a great swap idea, executed with delightful style!
Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. And even more thrilled that I opened you up to a new author! Yay! Thank you for the heart :)
Comment: I am heating some water as we speak to have some of the tea you sent me! The Alice in Wonderland Images were great and will come in great handy as I want to make a few things using alice in wonderland images! Thanks so much! :D
Response: You are so welcome! I'm glad you liked it all, and enjoy the teas :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely, glittery, special package I received today! Yay!!! I appreciate all your efforts to send and re-send (and re-send again!) and your lovely words in your letter. Thank you so much for everything, especially for being my friend.♥♥♥♥♥♥ (extra hearts)
Response: You are so welcome, and I'm glad that this one finally made it to you! You are such a wonderful person and deserve all sorts of lovely sparkles!
Comment: Thank you! When I proposed the swap, I actually had something similar in mind to the bookmark you made, so it was great to receive it in the mail--it's like you took the idea right out of my head and made it into a bookmark! DFTBA!
Response: haha that is so funny! I'm glad you liked it though. This was a great swap!
Comment: Thank you for your letter and for hosting this fun swap! I enjoy ILL as well. It was one of my favorite parts of my last library job.
That is awesome you grew up visiting your library and are now working there as a career!
Response: Yeah, that is also what makes leaving hard-I've spend half my life there, it is sooo hard to think about moving away lol and yay another ILL person!
Comment: Thank you very much for the selection of teas! Funny, I actually have the Numi honeybush and Tazo zen green here, too, but I do enjoy drinking them! The white tea looks like it will be fun to try, too.
Response: lol That is funny :) I'm glad you like them though :D Thanks for the heart
Comment: Thank you for sending! I have had that missing item happen alot. Be looking for the remote for the TV or a hairbrush. Not see it ANYWHERE and I just close my eyes and say "I am not in the mood to play. Please put it back." and seriously I would open my eyes and what I needed was right in front of me.
Response: lol that is awesome. "I'm not in the mood to play" tricky little ghosties :P Thank you for the heart. This was a fun swap to participate in!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty twinchies! This swap was really fun and I'm enjoying seeing what everyone created from the supplies! *Weird Question Alert:* I HAVE to ask, though, what brand of tape did you use to attach them to the card? It's the STRONGEST double-sided tape I've ever seen!!! :P
Response: Believe it or not, it is just regular Scotch Permanent Double Sided Tape. I am out of my Removable, which I like to use for attaching. But yeah, I love the Permanent. If you mess up placement it is always a toss up: Find a way to make it work, or hope it comes apart! lol
Comment: Ginny, thanks for the email checking these arrived. I'm so sorry I overlooked rating you, don't know how I managed it! Yes they arrived and are great so thank you! Hope you had a fun Halloween. Sorry again!
Response: Oh it's okay :) I always worry when swaps go international, I'm glad they arrived and that you like them!
Comment: LOVE what you sent!! :D awesome guitars too! and the doggy sheet you cut to fit, brought back memories. i dont have them in my collection but use to have them yearssss ago. and now there is 6 new penguin stickers to add to my collection! :)
Response: yay!!! I'm so happy you like the doggy stickers! And woot for new stickers! that is always an awesome thing :D
Comment: Wow, what a lovely swap!! I especially loved the magnet... I have some of those pockets... I hope you don't mind if I borrow the idea?? It's perfect!!! Thanks for the smiles today.
Response: Oh you are more than welcome to borrow the idea. I have to be honest, my sister, @MoonlightSonata came up with the idea and I thought it was fabulous! I am so happy you liked it all :) This was a fun swap and I am so looking forward to the C&C Stocking Stuffer swap now :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: I wrote about Xander/Anya too! Gr! And I was annoyed/irked at how everyone treated in Buffy in the last season as well. I wrote at length about that! ^laugh^ Thanks so much for joining the swap!
Response: You're welcome! Thank you for hosting it! I really had a lot of fun writing the letter, and it has made me pull out the dvds again...time to watch again! lol
Comment: Thanks Ginny for a really pretty ATC. The colour combo IS great. I've bought some of those blingy swirls myself, and it's nice to see how someone else has used them. Quite like the notecard you used too ... normally I save them but I am tempted to cut out the coffee cup for use in another project! LOL ... swappy recycling mania!
Response: You are very welcome! I'm so glad you like the card! I am addicted to the swirly blingy sparkly embellishments! Hehe I love recycling swapping stuff-like notecards-they tend to become backers for Inchies and stuff :D Thank you for the heart
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Inchies =D
The part of the "bad Inchie" sadly came of, but nothing a little bit of glue couldn't fix ^^
You are one of my partners from the Yellow Inchie swap. I'll send asap and hope you will like them :)
Response: Ugh I was afraid it was gonna do that! BUt yes, a little glue works all the time :D Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Hello Ginny,
Thank you for the ATC you created and designed for the "Music Lover ATC" Swap. I love the background paper that is music paper and how you spelled Music with stickers that sort of look like notes on the music paper to me. Thank you again for the ATC.
Response: You are very welcome! I'm so glad you liked it :D
Comment: Pill bottle, journal, sunglasses, and especially the BLACK BOX are all amazing. :) Thanks so much, Ginny! So awesome. And this makes me want BLACKOUT so much more, too. *sigh*
Response: Ugh I know! A whole other year for it! NOOOOOOO! Eh, I guess there are the short stories we can read in the meantime. I'm glad you liked the box. I wanted to take it outside and throw it around on the pavement to get some dents and dings in the box, but I forgot to. oops.
Comment: Thank you for my atc its lovely I loved making mine to! Hope to be involved in another atc swap with you
Response: OH I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you for the heart. I found those butterflies in the Martha Stewart aisle at Michaels and I fell in love! They are so simple yet so lovely. I really liked them. And I adore making butterfly atc's. Ugh. It's addicting!
Comment: I have it, and it's awesome! And... I don't want to say this publicly but I have to... I think this is the first one... I am not sure, no date, but it was on a table, NOT with mail... Maybe someone found it on the floor and put it there?? I don't know and no one is here for me to ask... but I sincerely sincerely apologize if it was here this whole time :( I feel awful and stupid!! But I love it, you did a great job, and it was a cool thing to share!
Response: lol I'm glad it was there, I JUST sent you a message too because I forgot to mail the re-send...So disregard that PM lol We date incoming mail at my house (10 people....it gets confusing) and I've had the mystery envelopes appear with no dates, much later than they should have. No worries at all, glad you like it :)
Comment: Thank you for such a beautiful swap! I really enjoyed opening your packages and seeing all the wonderful stuff you put together! It was such a nice surprise! Extra hearts<3 <3 <3
Response: You are so welcome! I had so much fun finding stuff for you. I do apologize for the farm animal linings! I still can't believe I got it all confused like that. Thank you for the heart and the swap!
Comment: Its so neat that you were able to get this book as an advanced copy. I saw this at a store I frequent (really great deals on books!) several times and it really interested me but I just never ended up getting it. Well as soon as I finish my current novel 'The Forest of Hands and Teeth' is up, thank you!
Response: Oh that is wonderful! I am so glad you haven't read it yet! Let me know what you think about it.
Comment: Thanks! We like some of the same movies - have you *read* V for Vendetta? The movie is still the best Alan Moore adaptation I've seen, but the comic goes so much deeper... highly recommended. Is The Kingdom you mentioned the Lars von Trier mini-series!? SWEET.
Response: Actually the Kingdom I listed was teh one with Jennifer Garner and Jamie Fox or Foxx I can never remember. And no, I haven't read V, but I will def. look in to it
Comment: I couldn't click on the links but it was a great list. These look awesome. I haven't read any of them and am so geeky excited to try them. The Aprilynne Pike series and "Thirteen Reasons Why" look especially good to me. :-) Thanks for sharing!
Response: You are very welcome! I hope you enjoy Aprilynne Pike's books and 13 Reasons if/when you read them. Thank you for the heart :)
Comment: Thanks for the great set of pastel inchies. They are quite pretty. The dragonfly is my favorite and I really appreciate that you sent a replacement for the one that was damaged in the mail. He is really gorgeous!
Response: Oh wonderful! I am so glad the replacement got to you safely! And thank you for letting me know he was damaged. Always good to know these things with new materials :D Thank you for the heart :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely inchies. I really like those little hearts.
Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you like them. Adding the blue was a last minute touch-which made them POP to me. I enjoyed creating yours and wanted hearts because of how Gofeen came about :) Gotta love those types of name stories, all full of love :)
Comment: Hehe, I'm glad you like the e-mail addy. Thank you so much for reuniting me with Kawaii Not! Oh, it's been so long. One of my first years at college, I had office hours and I spent my time reading every single one of those. Thanks for sharing! I have new stuff to check out now. :]
Response: Everyone, Kawaii lovers-or not, need a bit of that comic in their lives! :D
Response: Funny story: My boyfriend teased me about the broccoli "It looks like a tree baby" "It isn't! It will get you when you aren't ready!" The next day we had broccoli for dinner. It totally leaped off the plate and attacked him! (that or he just couldn't eat properly)
Comment: The fun began when I walked into the post office & the ladies were making "googly eyes" at me! My PO
people love my mail.
And I love your clever and funny ATC!
Response: haha that's awesome! Do they all crowd around looking at the packages and envelopes? lol When I took it in to the post office, the worker had me fill out the customs slip bc it was all poofy. So she asked what it was. "Wiggly eyes." She cocked her eyebrow. "Wiggly eyes?" "Yeah...the little crafty eyes you put on things." Definitely a funny conversation with her! I'm so glad you like it!
Comment: I LOVE that little blowfish stamp! I giggled the moment I saw it( and I was having a massive headache) but it is too cute that you just can't help but giggle-thank you!!! Oh, the ribbon and brads were very pretty- especially the butterflies! Thanks Again!
Response: The blowfish rocks! I'm so glad you like it! Did the fishie at least help your headache? Glad you liked it all!
Comment: i loved everything, i simply dont have enough words to express myself, it clearly shows u have studied my profile well to send my items , loved it, thanks so much. and i loved the way you have wrapped everything up and send it.
Response: Yay, I'm so glad it did get there! I was so worried when you pm'd me about it. I had so much fun getting the package together for you! And even though it was not supposed to be profile based, I thought it would be much funner for you :)
Comment: i *LOVE* the scarf!! i've been wearing it around the house since i opened it today because it's so soft and purty :) i love the colours as well- they match michigan this time of year. oh yea, and thanks for pointing out the COLDNESS of michigan lol it's 60 today and i'm trying to not enjoy it too much because it's not going to last hehehe! anyhow, i love it love it love so thank you soooooo much!!
Response: You are very welcome! They are pretty fall-ish colors. And if you look closely, you'll see some green. I tried to find some green from my stash for you!

Response: Yay! I'm glad you got it! I was worried it would take a while to get to you. I mailed it September 30, 2010. Hope the buttons come in handy somehow! :)
