I am 27. Born on Halloween (yes, I enjoy Halloween themed things). Have been with my boyfriend since Jan., 2008. I have no children (although if my mother had ownership of my womb, she would have a grandchild by now). I have a bearded dragon who was born in July, 2008 and is for all intensive purposes my baby girl. I am on this site mainly for creative writing projects (including penpals, fiction, journaling and prompts) and to learn new crafts. I just started my own group in Dec. 2012 called Write It Out.

I sell Scentsy but still consider myself unemployed because I long to reclaim a real office job someday. I used to work for a local newspaper for almost 8 years and was laid off for the 3rd and final time (due to companies financial issues) in August, 2011. I hope to someday find a job that will fulfill my financial needs as well as my need to contribute to the welfare of my surrounding community.

I fully support Camp Ronald McDonald and if you get to know me, you may hear me rave about it. SEND ME YOUR SODA CAN TABS if you'd like. They go towards raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (a portion goes to the camp which is for kids with cancer and their families).

*WHITE apparel! I think white is so plain, empty and too easy to mess up (with stains and such)

*People who think they're better than everyone else. I believe we're all special, we all bring something to the table and I dislike it when a person thinks they're better than everyone else, be it based on their job, their financial status, their clothes, whatever. It's called being selfish and pompous. I personally try my hardest to give everyone a fair chance but if you're being outright rude, I'll more than likely just stop communicating with you.

*Religious items. I'm not religious and I wouldn't want to reswap the items because I don't want people to assume I am religious and start the circle all over again.

*Scarves. I've never worn a scarf, I like my hoodies, they work just fine.

*I'm not super big on candy.

*MINT and Cinnamon! Yuck, please don't send me mint tea or mint candies. I also don't like how they smell. I have to buy toothpaste that tastes less minty because I hate toothpaste taste. I like vanilla toothpaste. :D

NOTE: I'd prefer not to get things that smell like cigarette or cigar smoke. It causes me to have to separate them from the rest of my swap things because I don't want to smell to contaminate everything. :(

I have a love and appreciate for Camp Ronald McDonald. It is a camp that allows children with cancer and their families to enjoy nature is a safe environment, free of charge. Many of these children spend a good chunk of their lives in the hospital and may have difficulties making friends outside of their unique situation. The camp helps to teach children social skills, team building and self-esteem building as well as allowing them to have fun.

Donations to this cause are awesome but an even easier way to help me help them is to include soda can tabs in any package you send me. The Ronald McDonald House Charities takes them, recycles them and uses the money to benefit their cause and make me smile.
