last update April-2-2017
37 years old german scrapbooking, wool and fabric addict, living in the middle of Germany with my husband, two kids and my cats Mimi and Momo. ❤️😺❤️💁🏻❤️👱🏻❤️👦🏻❤️👶🏼❤️😺❤️
I am looking forward to have a lot of fun with several interesting swaps. I do understand English, French and German. But please show understanding for my mistakes.
I always, always, always send my swaps. So in case you haven't received anything PM me please. It might have get lost or has lost its address label (I had this once or twice, fortunately the letter came back to me and I was able to resend).
I really have a lot of fun with everything fabric related. Especially 1930's repro and contemporary fabrics. I love polka dots, stars and stripes but tiny flowers are cute, too. I enjoy colors like red, green and light blue, light brown and yellow. Aqua and red is a great colour combo, too. I am a huge fan of Moda fabrics. But no batiks, please and please choose 100% cotton. No acrylics or acrylic blends.
I love scrapbooking, photography and art, too. Joining also several 1001journals.com journals. Scrapbooking-wise I enjoy dies, stickers, labels and buttons. Project Life is great, too. Think tiny here. I love vintage Epherma (old playing cards, childbook pages, library tags etc.). But there is a difference in between junk and vintage. 😉
For postcard-swaps: I love vintage-style cards, postcards with picture book illustrations or with funky, colorful art on it. I do love maps on cards and cards with encouraging quotes, too.
For Washi Swaps: I love vintage themes, orange is the color I have not a lot of, feathers, extra wide, flowers, stars, stripes, mail related (i. e. Stamps, airmail, pens...), ABCs, animals (especially foxes and birds), cities.
I do knit (organic fibers, no acrylics or acrylic blends) and do embroidery.
Waldorf is my thing. Everything natural related is great. I am always looking for new additions to our nature table. (In case you choose something nature related and are out of the EU think of all the custom regulations, please)
Purple and neon-colours are awful! I really don't like Kawaii, scary things or horror.
I cannot stand the smell of smoke. And please don't send any magazine clippings or napkins. I have no use for them, sorry. Whole magazine pages with lovely, eye-catching graphics are fine though.
I don't miss any episode of the german telenovela "Rote Rosen" (red roses) and have a lot of fun watching TV series (I.e. SOA, homeland, Mad Men, House of cards...)
YUMMIE: I really love chocolate, biscuits and jellybabies. Coffee and juice is great. No tea please. I think curry is an extraordinary spice. Cherry-taste is really great as well as liquorice. Coconut and vanilla is nice to smell. Everything sour is well appreciated here, sweets-wise. I love indish and italian-food. No MSG here (see below).
BÄÄÄÄÄH: How horrible is banana...urgs...I don't like to smell and to taste it gettinggossebumps Aniseed mints are horrible as well. Green tea isn't mine as well as fruit-tea combinations like plum-date-taste. I don't like strawberry. Coke and Sodas are terrible.
!!!:I am allergic to grapefruit and to monosodium glutamate (MSG) / Mononatriumglutamat (flavour enhancer) !!!
I wear black and white, red, blue and dark green. I only wear socks with stripes. I wear an US 8.5 and an EU 38 size -sockwise and a size M to L in clothes.
I love headbands with stripes, flowers, stars and polka dots. But not those hard ones - I like those cloth-ones. I lovelovelove ouchless hairbands.
Because I have really sensitive skin I prefere not to swap bath and beauty products. Neither for me nor for the family.
My children are five and a 1 year old. They are both boys.
We do not use plastic toys but love everything Waldorf and Montessori related.
We do like jigsaw-puzzle and love to craft (think of colour books, drawing etc), listen to music and make music by ourself.
Please choose nothing Disney related. Except for Cars and Star Wars (the bigger one is a huge fan)
The kids wear organic fabrics, cotton, real wool (no acrylic or acrylic blends), only. We prefer green over blue and love red and orange (the older one) and grey (the little one) Their seizes are (US) 24mths and 7T.
Please note on anything larger then a letter from outside the European Union will need out a filled out customs form. Please mark as a gift, as swaps are a gift and not a purchase. If you are shipping from within the US and you print your postage online you can save 20% off in shop pricing, customs form is included in the printout (yeah!)
The following items cannot be shipped to Germany:
-Anything containing meat in any form, fresh dairy products such as cheese items
-fresh plant products or mushroom
-consumable dietary supplements
-copyrighted materials (like burned cds or dvds, originals are fine though)
-Adult content like alcohol, cigarettes, weapons, drugs, anything illegal or endangered. Please do not send.
Finished food items containing dairy are fine, as are commercial spices for cooking, body care, essential oils, cosmetics, etc.
I always try to turn your swap items into something extra lovely. Therefore I read your profile closely and try to match all the items I send out with your likes. I always put a little extra in my swaps. Just because it makes me happy and hopefully you will love that, too.
Are you interested in a private swap? Awesome. 😍 Shot me a DM and we can figure out if we can find something we both are happy to swap.
