I am happily married with 2 kids. My daughter is 5 and my son is 2. I'm active in my local MOMS Club.

I enjoy crocheting for charity and painting watercolor /ink illustrations when I have a free moment or two. I also enjoy crafting with paper...more artsy stuff and less scrapbooking or cardmaking.

I am a sympathetic person who feels empathy for those who are suffering, whoever they may be and however they may suffer. This includes homeless and abused animals as well as children or adults who have no control over their situation. I also worry about our planet and try in small ways to make it a better place for us and ensure it will be around for our grandchildren to enjoy.

• I like almost all colors but am most drawn to earthy and jewel tones. Some of my favorites include tan, brown, hunter/forest green, moss green, navy blue, maroon, etc.
• Flavored coffee with cream - especially coffeehouse lattes (Seekers, Starbucks, etc) and General Foods International instant coffee, my favorite flavors being caramel and vanilla
• Walks in the park
• Watching the kids play
• Garage sales & thrift stores
• Popcorn, watermelon, ice cream, Mexican food...
• Using my slow cooker (crockpot)
• Disney & Sesame Street characters
• Animals - most any of them, but especially frogs, turtles, elephants, cats, and tropical fish and other ocean animals
• Bugs - more the cutsey kind
• Mythical & Legendary creatures - dragons, knights, griffins, monsters, etc. (not so much mermaids and unicorns)
• Autumn - the colors, pumpkins, gourds, fall leaves, the smell of a cool October or November morning....
• Fast dry nail polish
• Yarn, (really I have enough but....)
• Quick & easy recipes and/or slow cooker recipes
• Used books
• ATCs & handmade postcards, especially whimsical art and handdrawn/painted art
• Postcards - anything goes! I like the thought and effort put into handmade postcards. I like funny and unique cards, and I like beautiful ones too. About the only ones I don't really care about (though I know some people go ga-ga for them) are mapcards, I'd much prefer a local scene. Of course, if you send me a mapcard, I'll appreciate it because you sent it. :o) Oh, and I prefer the standard size cards because I'm planning to make a book of my collection.
• Organization...I don't have much of it...
• Nice stuff for a bath - my favorite scents include eucalyptus, citrus, mint, spicy/cinnamon, jasmin, and some florals (the only one I really don't like is lavender and that's mostly cause it doesn't seem to like me, kwim?)

My husband is a computer architect for Sabre Holdings. He's English, so my in-laws are in England. ;-) He absolutely does not "get" swapping and thinks it's weird to get things in the mail from people he doesn't know (though I often find him reading my postcards!).

My daughter wears a size 6X in most clothing and a toddler size 13 shoe (US). Her favorite colors are red and green. She likes My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop, Spiderman, Batman, any stuffed animal, crafting and coloring, books...

My son is wearing size 24 months. He has no clue that he's only 2 and wants to try pretty much anything that big sister does. He loves being outside more than anything, but likes to turn on the TV whenever he can. His favorite things are books and cars, followed closely by trucks, motorcycles, dinosaurs, Dora, Diego, Elmo, bikes, balls, and he loves all music.
