I am a 37 year old mother of two boys. I am an avid journaler (have been doing it for years, but just discovered art journals).  I have blonde hair (with a red stripe on the side), brown eyes and am slightly on the chunky side.  I work as a Nursing Assistant, and wish to get further education--but need to wait as my boys are both "special needs".  I have 3 dogs and 1 cat.  I really have an "off" sense of humor, and can be lighthearted at times.  I also have Bipolar, so if I am "missing" for a few days, or I don't answer a message right off, I am having a bad day--they seem to be getting worse right now. =[

I really enjoy ANYTHING by Al B. Sure or K.T. Oslin.  I prefer to listen to 80's tunes, but country music is okay.  When I am angry or sad, I like to listen to something with a really strong beat (and LOUD). Just bought the new Katy Perry cd--omg, i loveeeee it!!

My favorite books are ones in the V.C. Andrews series (own every one of them) Belva Plain and James Patterson.  I have recently discovered True Crime, will read ANYTHING in the genre.  Also a fan of Keri Smith. Roots, The Color Purple and Bridget Jones.

My favorite movies are still left over from my childhood (and I like to watch them with my boys)  The Last Unicorn, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Fern Gully.  I do like The Color Purple, Stomping At the Savoy, The Women of Brewster Place and Cora Unashamed.

Ah, television.  I am a fan of ANYTHING on the Lifetime Channel and CMT. I make it a point to see Criminal Minds on Wednesday nights, and I am addicted to Wife Swap.

Favorite crafts are crocheting, journaling (collages and gluebooks), writing poetry and short stories.  Dotee dolls are a favorite now. 

I collect unicorns, butterflies, journals/notebooks, tumbled rocks, key chains, stickers, things with pugs (i have a 2 year old pug named Tara).  Hello Kitty, postcards, bookmarks, fairies. lip gloss in funky containers

i'd like to learn how to quilt, make atc cards (I'm not even sure how they are supposed to look), how to knit.  i'd also like to learn about bento boxes and altered matchboxes.  decorated bottlecaps?

I do not like the smell of lilacs, the color brown is not high on my list either.
