Hi, I'm Kirsty. 26 years old and living in Auckland, New Zealand though originally from Greymouth (moving from a small town to New Zealand's biggest city).

I work as a travel consultant/customer service person for a bus company.

I love sending and getting stuff in the mail, one of the things that makes me really happy is going to the post office and finding my PO Box has actual mail in it. And I also like handing over things at the post office to send near and far.

My interests/likes include books, reading, writing, music (most kinds), cooking, cats, zines, collecting random things, mail, food, video games, comics/graphic novels, manga/anime and more I will add when I can think of it.

I'm interested in pen pals, swapping zines and other small paper things and also doing package/private swaps. I'm starting to get into ATCs and mail art so if anyone wants to swap/give some pointers to a newbie just PM me.

I'm looking forward to being active in this community.

As far as genres of music go I like most things with a preference for rock, indie, pop-punk, ska, emo, acoustic, singer-songwriter stuff and punk. I also like some pop, nerdcore hip hop, country, metal and classical.

I like humourous books that make me laugh, books about animals (especially cats!), music, travel, LGBTQ fiction and non-fiction, biographies... I'm starting to get into fantasy a bit. I like reading a lot of young adult/teen fiction and kids books. I'll give most books a try though not a huge fan of horror or crime (though I do like the crime novels if they are quirky)
