◊ I’m a wife (Amanda, turned 30 this year....ouch) to the most wonderful husband in the world (John, 33yrs). We have 3 children. 2 girls named Annika (9 yrs) and Maya (4yrs) and a boy named Jonas (1yr). ◊ We live out in the beautiful hills of Bristol in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of NY. We enjoy seeing the deer walk through the yard at all times of the day. ◊ We HAD 2 dogs. Reuben had to be put to sleep (April 15, 2009) due to cancer. He was a 9 year old pit bull. Yes, we have small children and a pitbull in the same house. We wouldn't have it any other way. We are out to try to change people's perception of pits. They are very loving, and loyal family companions! Unfortunately, people train them to be mean! It's sad. People see our dog and instantly get afraid. Little do they know Reuben would only lick them to death......especially their feet! Frank is a dalmation/cattle dog mix. We gave him back to the rescue we adopted him from because he was too hyper. He knocked over my 4 year old too many times. She fell down the stairs and busted her eyebrow open and got a shiner. Our house seemed empty like something is missing. We REALLY miss our Reuben! He WAS THE BEST DOG! Now we have another doggie. She is a 3 year old black and brown brindle pit bull. Her name is Sasha. She is such a good girl We are very excited to have her in our family!!!!!!!!! ◊ Anyway..........a little more about me....I was a stay at home mom for a few years but went to work part time. I enjoyed having my own spending money if I want to buy something but I hated not spending the extra time with my husband. John got a new job that has swing shifts so I went back to staying home. Now, I work part time again for a national moving company. ◊ I have hobbies but not much time to enjoy them since I have 3 kids. However, they are sewing, photography, and reading. I don't think there really is much more to say about myself without getting tooooo personal. ;)

My husband and I are into OLD time country (hank williams, stuff like that), Rockabilly, psychobilly, juke joint, hellbilly, mostly independent bands. Hank 3, bob wayne, reverend horton heat, stray cats, Unknown Hinson, blah blah blah. If you don't know what rockabilly is, google it and you will find some good definations. I would prefer you don't send me any cd's without discussing it with me first. Thanks!

I love reading! I prefer non-fiction/memoirs but I will read what ever I can get my hands on if I have a few spare minutes to read! I'm reading the Twilight series now....on book 3. Gunna have to get the 4th soon!

I like horror, suspense, thriller, cult classics, and comedy the most. Since I am a girl.....i do tend to like chick flicks now and then too.

I've somehow become addicted to The Secret Life of The American Teenager?? I like ghost hunters, paranormal state, and ghost adventures, and all the other ghost shows out now. Family Guy, The Simpson's, and King of the Hill are all favorites too. Used to like CSI until Gil left! SQUIDBILLIES!
