All about me in a few words

I love to laugh and enjoy a good clean joke I'm a Christian,and have strong judeo-christian values I'm a nurse.I've had opportunities to go on medical mission trips to Guatemala and Haiti.

I dontdrink coffee or tea,don't smoke. I dolove reese cups and chocolate in general.

If you haven't received a swap from me,please notify me because I am not a flaker! I tend to send my swaps fairly quickly after partners have been assigned.

Favorite Music

Contemporary Christian. Steven Curtis Chapman. Hymns!

Favorite Books

Bible,John Grisham, Jan Karon, James Patterson, Debbie Macomber,especially her Christmas stories.

I DON'T LIKE: vampires,gouhls,witchcraft storylines.

Favorite Television

Reality shows: Survivor,Amazing Race. I love Andy Griffith,and Seinfeld I Love Lucy,I like clean comedies Selling New York, Project Runway,Design Star.

Favorite Movies

I love chic-flick movies Jane Austen BBC series Emma.Pride and Prejudice Knotting Hill You've Got Mail,Sleepless in Seattle,An Affair to Remember

Favorite Crafts

ATC Inchies Chunkies Collage Mixed media. I'm learning to art journal!

Paper arts. I love 6x6 paper pads by any company. ATC clear envelopes,Background paper cut for ATC's 2 1/2 by 31/2 size.
Background stamps. Tim Holtz stickles,any TH embelishments!

Thriftstore finds

Note cards from art museums. I love Monet! Note cards with birds/flowers . I don't care for box greeting card type cards. Small plates that have birds painted on them. They are small and not snack size plates. Any kind of textured material that can be used as a stencil or used to spray for background. Stencils.Background stamps. Small tins that candy comes in or altoid tins(empty). I love vintage children's books,and children bible storybooks.If you find a hymn book at the thrift,I'd love to have it!

Magazines that have colorful pictures-MarthaStewart,Vanity Fair, National Geographic.

Things of nature:birds,flowers,tree's. Zinnia,sunflowers,lavender are favorites. I collect nativity scenes.

Postcards: State map cards, vintage holiday,valentine, anything related to your area.

I like the whimsy of MaryEngelbreit and Debbie Mum. I like shabby chic pinks/blues/pearls. I love glitter and a fondness for sparkle!

Comment: Thanks for the envelope of goodies! Sorry for the delay in rating. The post office held it hostage for 3 days for postage due. When I went in to pick it up, the girl said she had been out and someone else was working in her place. She just gave me the envelope. I was looking at the menu you included and it made me hungry. We may have Chinese take out for dinner tomorrow! :)
