Happiest surrounded by art/craft projects, books/magazines, and junk store finds. Creative outlets include sewing, art journaling/scrapbooking, coloring outside the lines, cooking and gardening.

Travel and exploring are true passions, as is learning about other cultures; I am always interested in international swap partners.

My Style

A turquoise-and-silver-with-white-linen-and-jeans girl who appreciates the clean lines of mid-century modern design and loves my old-school Mac iBook as much as my Moleskines.

Art supplies, red shoes, vintage fabric & buttons, ethnic food, Fiesta-ware, cookbooks & foodie magazines, retro sneakers (shell-toe Adidas, anyone?), children's books, art/craft & design blogs, fresh air markets, surprises in the mail, public radio and tv, signage & lettering, fresh flowers, indie artists (go etsy!), small gestures and big hearts. Other than neon colors, I like just about all shades, especially those found in nature: greens, blues, browns, stone, and accents of red, yellow.

The presentation of the sketchbook was so lovely--the box wrapped, the brightly colored tissue paper and the very special note made me feel very special. Thank you. The altered sketchbook is lovely as well. I like the bright papers you used as well as how you created the butterflies using a tearing method. I can tell you looked at my profile. The words you included on the front and inside cover are words that I think of often as part of cretivity. I am very excited to start using my sketchbook. As a start, I am going to include your lovely note to start off my sketchbook. I appreciate the extra notes you made for me and packaged in cellophane envelope. I write letters often to family and friends and so I will add your notes to my collection and use them or I may decide to keep them with my handmade card collection for awhile. I still haven't quite decided yet, but I am glad that I am now the owner of some of your cardmaking work, too. I hope we cross paths again.
