I'm a single, female artist living in Baltimore, MD. Baltimore that funky little city that is recently getting so much attention for being arty. So much so that we got a head tilt from Rolling Stone Magazine for our indie music scene and NPR reports that we have more independent theaters than NYC. Really, Baltimore has always been this way but for some reason we're hip now. Well there are the Ravens and that Mr. Phelps...
I love popular music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. I like the singer song writer genre. I also like jazz, bosa nova, and ambient music.
I paint, make prints, bead, fold origami, make and collect art objects. I don't sew, knit or crochet. I say this because I know fabric craft is very "in" these days. I'm into vintage and offbeat things. I also make those rubber band bracelets but without the loom.
Orange is the New Black, Big Bang theory, The Walking Dead, Elelmentray
As far as likes as dislikes go I'd prefer not receive any books, stuffed animal, refrigerator magnets in any swap because I have too many of these items. As mentioned, I don't sew, knit or crochet so no craft supplies related to fabric arts. I also don't scrapbook. I don't have food allergies but can't have anything hot (spicy). I also can't have any scented bath items (scented lotions, soaps, balms) I have a skin allergy to them, but I can have those items unscented. I like beads, small trinket boxes, handmade items, mushroom motifs, small objects, gumball machine toys, elephants, squirrels, hippos, and birds, moons and stars, stickers, fairies, knit hats, gloves, socks, totes, vintage items. I'd really like to receive something from you knitters and sewing people. I tend to like less flashy, more basic, tasteful things.
