About Me

I am a 52 yo grandma. we had our first grandchild 2 yrs ago and can't imagine not having him around.I am a 911 operator and have worked for either ambulance or law enforcement for the last 28 yrs. I am married to my soul mate and have been for 22 yrs.I have a love of rocks and reptiles that isn't quite normal, or least according to my husband it isn't,and can think of nothing better than being outside

Favorite Music

Old hippie at heart, I love pink Floyd and led Zepplin, but am also very fond of blue grass.

Favorite Movies

Lord of the Ring Triology, anything with vampires.I love to read more than watch movies or t.v

Favorite Television

CSI, Top Chef and almost anything on PBS. would much prefer to read or be outside. I love to putter around outside, and now have a great rock collection started

Favorite Crafts

I like to paint and make jewerly. I like all kinds of paper goods,stickers, and cards. Any color is my favorite color.I love black and white photos and things that look worn ,used and loved.

Comment: Hi Theresa! Absolutely love the selection of stones you chose for me! I enjoyed the descriptions of each, as well. As 'rock hounds,' both daughters and I go to the two annual rock shows here and always come home with a new 'treasure' of something different. We always go for the "grab bags" and have found some remarkable 'finds.' We have never gone out on a dig, but it looks like it would be tons of fun. Have you ever seen "The Crystal Bible,' a book that is surely one every rock lover should have. I just bought two of them for Christmas gifts. Thanks, too, for your lovely note! Comment: Awwww. DOLPHINS! You know me too well. I'm such a soft-touch for them. (my fetish) Love the little notebook, I can never have too many of those pocketbook-size pads. And my SO put on the bear/jute necklace right away! Green IS my fav color, after all, so I like him so decorated!! There's Cherokee in my maternal family, so the bear is very special. THANK YOU! (50 hearts given, if not seen.)
