About Me

Hello my name is Barb Thorp. I was born in Mount Vernon Wa. We now live 4 miles away in Burlington. I have 2 kids, 3 grankids, and 1 great grandchild and one that will be born in the next couple of weeks. I am so excited. We have 2 dogs that are spoiled and we have alot of fun. My husband drives a dump truck. He has been a truck driver his whole life. At least he is home every night now. We like to go camping and to the beach and go sight seeing and cruises. We are always doing something. I love taking pictures. My other thing is crafts. I do everything buit things that have to be sewed. My mom and I always went to all the craft shows and had so much fun. She died in March last year so I am crafting all by myself now. I am always looking for different things to make. I am really into paper things and scrapbooking. Just made a scrapbook for my new great grandaughter. It was so much fun. I am real excited about this club because now I can meet new people and exchange ideas. I love listening to music and I read Daniell Steal books. Do not go to the movies alot but watch some on tv. When I am sitting watching tv. I am always doing some kind of craft. Can not sit and do nothing. I hope I have said enough about myself. Have fun crafting everyone.

Comment: I am sorry, but I have to rate a 1 at this time. I know you have been online and still nothing. This was a pretty easy email swap. Will rerate if I ever receive. I do apologize. UPDATE: 10April2013--I received an email and several pictures today. Thank you for fulfilling this swap. I am sorry that you had such a hard time around the holidays and hope that you are feeling much better now. Again, thank you very much. Your pictures were very nice!!

Response: Been sick with no one to help me plus I was to sick to tell any one what to do had namonia. Had a relpas last week so I think today I am feeling good. Comment: I just got the pc over 2 months late,never sent me a message about being sick and marked it sent on Dec 10.
Response: Yes I had written messages to all my people and telling them that I had been sick and could not get help to get my things done. I am real sorry that I got sick for so long. Have a nice day.

Comment: 2/10/13- I receive the card from you. Sorry you had a lot going on but I have not choice to rate you with anything than a 3. You were online during the period of time all that stuff was going on and could have sent me a message telling me you were having some trouble. And yes, I know others are rating you with 5's but I'm following with requirements. 2/5/13- I get it that you had a relapse but I'm not the only one that you didn't send to for this swap. And you didn't send for other swaps. My problem isn't that it's late, cause I have been late on some swaps, it's that you marked sent and you didn't. You should have never marked sent if you didn't send. I will be happy to re-rate you when you do send but you haven't contacted me or anyone else about resending. And I'm sure I'm not the only one that has a problem with you marking sent when you didn't. 2/4/2013-Sorry to rate you with this but you put a message on my profile back in December saying you would mail out. It hasn't been sent yet and you marked sent. NOT COOL! When you decide to send, that would be great. You don't have to send a Christmas card since it's now February. And you have been online as of today. I get it you were sick, but I think it's time to make good on these swaps that you marked sent on and you never sent.
Response: After I put message to different people I had a relaps and was sick for the next weeks. I am so sorry that I do not have sommeone that couod of been there to help me get things done so that i do not come across a slacker but I am sure I am not the only one that gets sick ot has family things come up. I get upset because to me this is a fun thing to do and if things come to me late I underastand things that come up and like I said it is not suppose to be so serious suppose to be fun. Have a nice day.Yes I understand that I put in that I was mailing things because that is what I was going to do but did not even make it out to frontroom to get all my things done to give to mail lady. I have had some real nice people that the same thing happened to and they got my things late but know that things happen. I have had things come to me months late but I figure this is suppose to be a fun swap club and it is not life or death if things are late for good reason. I hope that I never get sick again. To bad people have to be so perfect that nothing happens to them. I am sorry that even getting my swap did not even make a difference with you . Have a nice day

Response: Been down sick in bed so I have not been able to do anything. Today is first day that I feel like I am on road to recovery. I am so sorry that I got namonia. Did not want it. looked att my slip because I bought stamps because of price change and it was sent out that day the 4th. Sorry I can not control what happens after they get it

Response: Very sorry again about getting sick and not being able to get thigns out. At least you get things I have gotten things months late but I am happy that i get them and at least be fair. Again I am sure I am not the only one that gets sick or has family things come up.

Response: I am so sorry that you did not get the things that I sent. I had sent off a whole bunch of things for swap bot because I was getting sick and I ended up with namonia. I had a relaps last week so today I feel pretty good.

Hi, letting you know I still haven't gotten anything from the swap that was due Dec 9th. Was wondering if you planned to resend. You can send a standard hello card in place of a holiday card since the holiday has passed if you'd like.

at first, i expected that more than 5 would join. so i set 10 to receive photos from all users. but as you can see, only 3 joined this swap and i can't control this number of course. so that's why you only see 3 in the list, not 10
