UPDATE: 29th March I have signed up to swaps and will send, please forgive me if for the next month or so IF they're a couple of days late, I will be joining less for the next couple of months as I am at the point of my college course where I need to be spending more time studying, I will always send my swaps and intend on sending on time, but if i'm going to be posting late I will let you know, so please don't worry :)

UPDATE: 1st January 2013 I am going to go through the christmas cards I received this evening and mark on my sheet and do ratings also. Please give me time as I may not get to do all of this tonight as I am now grieving, my mum passed away yesterday morning.

UPDATE 28th December 2012: I am sure I have received cards for all my christmas swaps, thank you to all, I haven't had a chance to go through and do all ratings yet due to family health issues. I am hoping to get ratings done in the new year so please do not worry.

My name is Lucy, 32 years old and collect postcards, thimbles and bracelet charms, along with a few other things (novelty notes, currency, stamps are just to name a few).

I enjoy swapping (especially postcards) and although I have been on a break for a number of years I have finally decided to do it again. I have only a small postcard collection but would like to make it grow into a worldwide one. One from each state in the US is something I would like to have but know this will take a long time, but a great journey for me.

I am not able to travel much due to money and also mobility issues so I see the world through postcards.

Postcards that are... Christmassy, cute, viewcards, multi viewcards, state cards, map, landmarks, and with animals on will be much appreciated along with anything else...

...but please don't send me anything religious, clowns and advertisement cards as these are not anything I am interested in.

I enjoy crafting, mainly handmade cards and I am hoping to get into scrap-booking too. I also enjoy making friendship books (but haven;t done any for a while) and would like to get into deco's when I've got my craft stuff sorted and setup.

I would like to try making altered trading cards (ATC's) and other small items (inchies etc.), I have so many idea's and would love to turn them into something great for others to see.

I love MrHudson's music, preferably from the first 2 albums, I also like alot of what I hear on the radio, if I enjoy a song I like to look up the lyrics.

I also enjoy GreenDay, My Chemical Romance and Michael Bublé.

I don't really read books that often but have read Terry Pratchett books and short stories about cats.

I do enjoy puzzle magazines and the small puzzle books though if they count lol

The Simpsons Movie, War of the Worlds, Mission Impossible, the Da Vinci Code.

Comedy, Action or Animation are my favourite genres, so this would include shrek and the likes.

I enjoy watching quiz shows such as The Weakest Link, Million Pound Drop etc. and also watch the Simpsons regularly and programs about how things are made, I love learning new things.

If I ever have to send a swap late I will let you know, I always do my best to send swaps quickly and well packaged where needed.

I always make a note on my sheet when I send and receive, but if you don't receive a swap from me within a reasonable time please contact me before leaving any rating, I will always try to mark a swap sent within a week of sending.
