I work as a Zumba instructor and personal trainer, so you already know that I am into health food and fitness (and dance! and loud music!).
I love learning new things and helping people reach their goals.
I am allergic to wheat/gluten, so I'm lucky that I love to cook since I make almost everything I eat from scratch.
Travel is very important to me. Colombia, Tibet, and Nepal are on my list, but so is pretty much anywhere I haven't yet visited.
Other tidbits: I'm Catholic. I don't have kids. I studied art with an emphasis on filmmaking and photography. I think the world is a beautiful place.
I promise that if I've been assigned to swap with you, my items have been sent - please contact me if something doesn't arrive so that I can make things right.
Salsa, reggaeton, hip hop, pop, electronic, or pretty much anything else. I play the violin so classical and modern classical are good by me, too!
Works by Hemingway, Sartre, David Foster Wallace, Kerouac, and Salinger top the list. Poetry. I prefer "heavy" reading over fun fluff because I like getting really engrossed in the characters.
Arrested Development, Mad Men, The Simpsons.
Les Quatre Cents Coups, Je Tu Il Elle, Weekend, Masculin Feminine, Ladri di Biciclette, Aguirre (Wrath of God), The Wild Bunch, Dead Man, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, and the works of Sergei Eisenstein and Stan Brakhage (& contemporaries)
I'm 99% a minimalist - I usually gravitate toward the simplest option.
I enjoy receiving almost anything from another country! I also like postcards, cinema, languages, animals, literature, paper, and Totoro.
The No list: Because of my allergies, food and toiletries/bodycare are pretty much off limits for me - but I can always regift!
