I have been dealing with a sick parent since February. It has been very stressful for me. Being with him and taking care of him while he's staying at a nursing facility takes up most of my time and energy. I KNOW I AM SEVERLY OVERDUE IN SENDING OUT SOME FORUM SWAPS. Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I like to think of myself as bubbly and fun. I love getting mail and keeping busy and swapbot helps me do both. Fabrics I Like: Cute prints, polka dots, Kawaii (Sanrio, Hello Kitty and other kawaii characters), japanese imports, florals, Super Buzzy kinda stuff, retro, mod, french style (like showing paris), Japanese / Asian, Michael Miller, and Alexander Henry. I like Cottons and Flannels. Please no fleece, cartoon characters (kawaii is fine, just no dora the explorer kinda stuff) and blah colors. I am not really into country all that much although a nice floral is totally fine.

KAWAII I LIKE: (Sanrio) I like Hello Kitty, Chococat, Charmmy Kitty, Deery Lou, Pandapple, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Sugarbunnies, Pankunchi, Little Twin Stars and Chi Chai Monchan. I love Kuromi but only when he has eyes (I don't like when they put hearts for his eyes). I am especially in love with the blue mouse from My Melody. Also I like the Sanrio Q items.

(Non-Sanrio) Mamegoma, Wanroom, Nyan Nyanko, Hannari Tofu, Yogurt Kun, any of the Kamio Animals, Tokidoki, Morning Glory, San-X Jewel Cat, San-X Boots Kutusita Nyanko and Baby Animals. I like Unazukin.

I am really liking any of the Kamio Smile characters.

I like cram cream alot. The only patterns I have are the sheep, the cupcakes and the chicks with cherries.

KAWAII ITEMS I WOULD LIKE: Bags, pouches, plushes, pens (with dangly charms or charms on top), memo pads (any size), sticker sacks and sheets, little figurines, keychains, post-its, deco tape, and boxes.

I am very obsessed with cell phone charms - I like all kinds - plush or hard ones.

I am also now interested in bento boxes. I would love some kawaii bento boxes. The accessories fascinate me. I wouldn't even mind a book on the subject.

KAWAII PLUSHIES: Any off my wishlist would be great. I wouldn't mind Cha Chai Monchan or Baby Boo plushies either. I also like the Baby Gloomy Bear. I would prefer NO hello kitty plush please (unless they are on my wish list).

Here's some other miscellaneous things about me....

I love to knit and sew. Pretty much I will try anything crafty once. The only thing I have never gotten into is scrapbooking (but I like the papers, stickers and other fun stuff). I have been known to dabble in drawing, photography, printmaking, and jewelry making. I enjoy working on my computer and doing graphic design kinda things. I also love decorating matchboxes.

My favorite flower is lilies of the valley. I also really love lilacs, daffodils, johnny jump ups, tiger lilies, marigolds, and bleeding hearts.

I have a black and white cat named Blacky.

My fave TV show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My fave singer is Tori Amos. Other singers/bands I love are: Morrissey, the Smiths, Sleater-Kinney, Kristin Hersh, Aimee Mann, Elliott Smith, Laura Veirs, and Dar Williams. I definitely say my music taste veers more towards indie / pop and towards female singers. But I am all over the map with what I like.

• I can always use Caron Simply Soft yarn in any color (except their white, it looks grey) but especially in black or brown. I also can use Red Heart Soft yarn in any color. Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn is also great. Especially in black, dark brown or white.

• Eyeglass cleaning cloths (they are like a soft microsuede or something like that). No matter how many I buy, I always seem to misplace them.
