A bit of an Ode

Splendour in the Grass

What though the radiance
which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass,
of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death,
In years that bring the philosophic mind.

Comment: Oh My Goodness! Holy Smokes! I LOVE my package. The wrapping, socks, mug, tea, cards. The cards could not have come at a better time as I am working on Thanksgiving ones. The socks since I will be heading to visit my DH in CA in Dec for a holiday work party. Plus I will be heading to Michigan to visit family. Thank You So Much! Your package could not have come at a better time as I have been frustrated with swaps. I have several that have not come in yet. Happy Wednesday! :)

Comment: BEST. SWAP. EVER!!! Seriously, this is the most wonderful package I've ever received (and we're goin' back to like, Christmas of '72)!!! What a thrill to open each sweetly-wrapped parcel and find - yet another AWESOME, delightful gift! (Hey, are you a mind reader? How did you know Gardetto's are my favorite snack of all time?!) I have to tell you, though, you could have sent only the GORGEOUS handbag and I would have been thrilled! It's absolutely wonderful; did you make this? I couldn't empty out my old bag fast enough to start using this beauty! Please run for President! One hundred hearts & stars for you!!! ((Thanks so much for making my whole month!))
Response: LOL I'm really glad you liked eveything. And yep, I made the bag...just for you. :o)

are you the one who hand the truly mom name for your etsy or flickr? I can't remember. I ran into a lady who had a truly mom patch on her jacket. She said it was her company name. She was mailing a huge order of the coolest invitations I'd ever seen. A note in a bottle with some sand. She mailed them naked. Anyway we talked and I told her I thought there was someone else out there with the truly mom name. You?
