My name is Beth and I live in a small river town in Alabama. I am a retired first grade teacher and piano teacher. I enjoy classical music and Van Gogh art. Bach, Chopin, Mozart, and Schumann are some of my most favorite composers,. I enjoy reading books that have historical value, books about early English kings and queens, and books that challenge me to think about why I believe what I believe. Vintage jewelry, Christmas ornaments, and old buttons are facinating to me. I enjoy crafting, making ATC's, making matchboxes, sewing, making diorama Christmas ornaments, scrapbooking, and papercrafting. My favorite colors are pink, blues, greens, and brown. I feel that I should have lived in another age, this one gets to fast sometimes. I have 5 precious children and a wonderful husband. I also have a precious grandson and granddaughter. We have a cutey Yorkie named Tessa.

I will honor my swaps and will do work that I am proud to send and not just good enough to get by. I do not have a blog. I do not consider myself savvy enough on the computer to do that. I do enjoy personal snail mail and email contact. I just love to craft and create and share in the experience with others. I love to please and for people to be happy with my work. I do not have to have extras to rate a heart. I do love work that has been thought out, cut evenly, neatly done and not just thrown together for the sake of a swap.

My dislikes are....butterflies~ the color white~ loud music~ barking dogs~ rude people~ vacuuming~ hard candy~ going to the dentist~ anchovies~ also another thing I do not care for are the vintage photos of children or women~Something about them sort of make me feel creepy. I normally will not sign up for a swap if they are featured..Don't mean to be picky....
