About Me

So, hi! I’m Christy, I’m 23, I live in Virginia, I (sometimes) go to school, for drawing and design. I am very passionate about animals, art, and music, and not much else. I work at Petco, which I love. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.

My best friends are my dog (Indie, pit mix), my bird (Deuce, jenday conure), my bunny (Hotot), my 4 cats (Shorty, Chester, Sammi, and RC), and all my fishes.

I have a really amazing girlfriend that I've been with for almost a year. I write a lot and make zines. I’m super into animal rights, and try to live my life accordingly. Not vegetarian, but I don’t eat much besides cereal lately anyways. I love tattoos and have seven. For art/crafts, I’m into painting, drawing, photography, collage, readymade/assemblage, and imagining. I don’t like labels. I want to save the world.

i make a mean mix cd.

*and magazines (paste, print, readymade, bust, craft, plenty, etc.)

Plus I'm always in the middle of a novel.

I LOVE indie flicks and angst. My most favorite movies are:

Comment: I'm glad to get our package because I thought it wasn't going to happen. You hit exactly what I need with the blow up neck pillow - I had one I traveled with that started leaking so I really needed a new one Several other items will also be useful. Thanks for getting it all together and sending it.

Comment: i truly enjoyed your zines, they were great! after reading them, i think i want to be more personal in mine. the mix cd seems awesome! i haven't listened to it yet, but based on some of the artists i saw, i know it's rad. also, that peter the rabbit paper is adorable! :]

Comment: Christy, I changed this rating from 1 to 3, generally if someone lets me know they're going to be late & it comes in a couple of weeks I go with a 5. The stuff you send it all usable and I like your taste. But I do expect the good manners of being more conscientious about sending on time or offering a good excuse for being late.
Response: Oh you're just so understanding! And just toooo kind. I definitely would have sent it sooner, and probably even replied to your message(!!), had it not been borderline hostile telling me not to 'flake on this one' the day after the send date. <3 That was definitely my good excuse for it taking so long - because the last thing I wanted to do was send you surprises! Glad you find it 'usable.' Much love.
