I am a new to swapping. I am trying to find a hobby to fill my time. I would like to start out with something easy like post cards. Please have patience with me while I learn my way around this place. :-)

I enjoy Science Fiction shows. I love all of the Star Trek series. I also like the Stargate series. I am piping hot that They cancelled Firefly. I like just about all of the tv shows on the SyFy channel except Battlestar Galactica. I don't know why, but I never got into the new one. I enjoyed the one that came out when I was a kid. Yes, I'm that old.

I also like British shows. I absolutely fell in love with the show Coupling. I wish it was still on.

I sit at a desk all week so I like to get out on the weekends. I like to walk on trails and I love water. I own a motorcycle and a kayak. I am into recreational kayak, not whitewater. A little whitewater is always fun though. :-)

I love history and architecture so anything with cool buildings or homes, any postcard about historic sites, and, of course, nature themes. I am very easy to please. I just look forward to getting something in the mail box.

I like professionally printed postcards!! So send the cards from Zazzle, Walgreens, etc. Even if the swap doesn't allow them, I will rate a five as long as all other criteria of the swap are met. I would love to see your personal pictures (make sure the picture is something that I can show my kids :-)

I have started participating in some tea swaps so I thought I would add my preferences. Basically, I like any type of tea to include all of the herbals and medicinal mixes. I make my own kombucha so go ahead and send me the plain ol' black, grean, white or oolong teas. I love chai. I am not so fond of vanilla in my tea but I have family members who do like vanilla. I know, I am just so picky. :-P
