Hello swappers,

What a surprise: Like most of you I love a full mail box. I love swapping postcards, fb's, teabags, bookmarks, notebooks, little chocolates, etc. See my wishlist below. I'm snail mailing since my youth. Serious penpals are welcome. I don't like penpal collectors.

I'm luckily married and I'm so happy with our kitten Merlot. Since November 2010 I have a cat again after many years. It's a real joy to have a cat at home. Sometimes he's an angel (see picture) but sometimes a real little devil, like cats should be ;-)

I love learning languages. My native language is Dutch, but you can write or contact me also in English, French, Italian and German. Since 6 years I'm studying Italian for pleasure, so I'm interested in all Italian related subjects: Italian food, culture, monuments, tourism etc..

Drinking tea is always a relaxing moment for me. I love most green, black and herbal teas;

FAVOURITE TEA :
- Green tea: Sencha and Matcha. - Raspberry tea (Raspberry tea from Bigelow or Tetley are great) - Mint tea - Verbena - Rosehip and Hibiscus - especially my husband loves it a lot. He drinks it every morning. Favourite tea brands : Damman, Harney and Sons, Celestial Seasonings, Messmer, Teekanne, Elephant (French brand) RECENT FAVE: chocolate tea with raspberry from Celestial Seasonings. I can't find it here. Normally I'm not into chocolate flavoured teas because I prefer to eat chocolate or drinking hot chocolate but this chocolate raspberry tea is really delicious with a great smell. DISLIKE : NO STRAWBERRY TEA ! NO VANILLA TEA ! I hate strawberry tea and vanilla flavoured tea. I love to eat the fruit and I like vanilla in yoghurt and ice, but I really dislike these flavours in tea.

ALLERGIES: I drink most herbal teas but I'm allergic to : - Dandelion - Daisies - Fennel - Cinnamon (recent allergy unfortunately)

BEDTIME teas I'm still looking for the ultimate sleeping tea, so if someone has a good recipe? My favorite sleeping tea so far is Sleepy time from Celestial Seasonings.

• Chocolate: I love DARK CHOCOLATE + 70% cacao.
  Combination of dark chocolate and ginger! Fillings: praliné, raspberry No milk or white chocolate
• CUBERDONS (Red noses): I guess these candies are typical Belgian. So only Belgian swappers will know these sweets.

UPDATE: Food allergies: Since 27 March 2013 I know I have some food allergies and intolerances: NO Milk, Sheep milk, yoghurt, egg, honey, almonds, pear, banana, gluten

Ciao tutti ! Mi piace studiare e parlare la bella lingua italiana. Amo la cultura italiana: i monumenti, la storia, la cucina ed i vini, cinema etc... Mi piace le cartoline e segnilibri con fotografie della citta e monumenti o anche con testi o espressione in italiano. Anche amiche di penna Italiane sono benvenute. Grazie !!

My favourite colour is PURPLE and I love some shades of blue like Indigo and Royal blue. Other colours : burgundy and black
