About Me

I am 27 years young and I teach special education on the elementary level. I love junk. I love old junk, thrift store junk, found on the ground junk. I really really like junk that people give me. I have a little brown and white chiwahwah/terrier mix doggie that lives a double life.

Favorite Crafts

I love knitting. I'm not very good but it doesn't have to look fab to be warm and fuzzy. Just from my first swap I have developed a love for creating post cards. I love finding very cheap old paperback books and creating post cards from their covers!

Scouting

I volunteer in both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts and I love it!

Life Challenges

I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder for over 5 years although I have been having challenges in that area of my life since I was a little girl. This is a very important area of my life as I focus on discussing mental illness as a means of debunking many myths and stereotypes surrounding bipolar disorder.
