ABOUT ME: I'm an ex sports freak turned computer geek (met my lovely hubby online 13 years ago!)I have a very tolerant hubby (who has given up trying to understand why I need so much scrapping materials) and we have a spoiled doggie called Sooty. I hardly ever keep any of my craft, always giving it away so swapbot seems ideal for me!

I'll listen to pretty much anything - from heavy metal to tai chi music (honestly!) In my heart I'm a 90's rock girl though (whitesnake, bon jovi and the like) - currently loving the kings of leon

House, Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer, Reaper, Supernatural, Buffy the vanpire slayer, Angel, all the stargates, all the star treks, the new Dr Who (not Torchwood though!) Guilty TV faves: Sex and the city (don't ask me why - it is the furtherest thing from my life - but I loved it!), Project runway, the Discovery Travel channel and the lifestyle channel (love antiques roadshow LOL!)

I like books that let you escape everyday life, so I'm not big on scary horrors or tear jerkers. Give me fantasy any day (The Magician series, anything by David Eddings!) I am also a big fan of Jane Austen.

I go through fads with what I like. At the moment I love shabby chic things. Swirly hand drawn crafty things. I think I'd be into collages but have never tried it. I have been making ATCs for a few months now (call me an older newbie if you like!). I love to scrapbook, I find my own style is simple and a little quirky but I admire the over the top loaded with embellishment pages too. Flowers are always nice. I like asian themed things as well. I love travel and cooking too!

I'm a wannabe collector of vintage things - I love the antiques roadshow, bargain hunt and other collector type shows. I like to dawdle around markets and find little treasures to list on ebay (if I can pry them from my hoarder hubby first!) It's fun to see if I have a good eye for collectables or not. The things I am drawn to are vintage compacts and vanity sets. Old kitchen ware (love bakelite plastics - even bakelite jewellry), old tins and old books.

previously I said nothing - I now have one little pet peeve. ATCs with just a sticker on it - it's just plain daggy and shows no effort or thought (sorry if that sounds mean!) I'm not an ATC snob - I just want to see that more than 2 minutes work has gone into making the thing!

DaVinci (love renaissance art), Art Deco, Classic and modern asian styles (eg kimonos to kawaii and anime), maneki nekus, classic disneyana, 50's and 60's pop art, minimalism and way to the other extreme really over the top stuff.

I'm not a mum, but I am a devoted Auntie (Auntie Lisey!) to two beautiful girls Molly and Amelia (Molly & Milly). If you feel like sending me something extra for hearts you could send something for Molly & Milly instead (I'm happy with the swap itself!) Molly is 9 years old and is a real nature girl, very active and loves animals (I wouldn't be suprised if she grows up to be a vet) she is also a pokemon addict big time! Milly is 5 and is very creative, she likes to dress herself (very stubborn) and will often wear stripey tights a tutu and sneakers - she's cute enough to make it work LOL! Milly is a big fan of Dora the explorer and The Wiggles, anything fairy themed is also a winner. Please don't feel like you have to send them anything - this is just in case you want to send something extra and are stumped for ideas :o)
