Hi, I am a Stay at Home domestic artist!!! I love my job and take it seriously. My husband is a corporate pilot in the Middle East. He is gone for one month and then home for one month. I hold down the fort while he is away and we have a ball when he comes home. We have six children. Three sons, 26, 22 and 17. Three newly adopted daughters, 19, 17, and 14. My oldest son is married and a beautiful daughter in law joined our family. We also have a toy poodle named, Polly. My life is all about being flexible. The first half of our married life we lived in Africa and Indonesia. I have learned so many things and I continue to learn.
I live in Southern California. I love it here. I have my home decorated in Mid-Century modern style. My dream is to have a real retro house with a '66 Thunderbird parked in the driveway!!!! Someday!!! Some things that I enjoy doing are singing and dancing. Singing with a Big Band is a dream of mine. I would love it!!!! I have started making collages and collage journals. So interesting. My husband and I have started Geo-caching. So much fun!!! I love thrift store shopping and going to flea markets. Looking for treasures brings me so much joy!!! Vintage rhinestone jewelry, 50's dishes, colorful vases, vintage magazines, vintage Barbies, vintage clothes and purses are things I love to find to name a few.
Most of all I am thankful to God for the life He has given to me and I want to give back to show my appreciation. I hope this helps to get to know me a little bit.

I like all kinds of music. It is so hard to just pinpoint one type. I could listen to a live Big Band for hours. I love the big bass and the horns. I love rockabilly music. Twangy guitars are to die for!!!! Johnny Cash, John Denver, James Taylor, Peter, Paul and Mary, Elvis are some favorites of mine.
I just recently went to a Jamie Cullum concert and Imelda May opened for him. It was incredible!!! I'm also a singer so anything I can sing to is fun. Love show tunes, folk songs and hymns for this very reason.

I have a penchant for self help books and memoirs. I keep my Bible close and read it a lot.

I like quirky and independent movies. Last movie I saw was Babies. I like stories about real life and other cultures.

Estate Sales, Flea Markets, Swap Meets, Vintage Rhinestone Jewelry, Perfume, Makeup, Vintage Clothes, Vintage Barbies, Handmade Barbie Clothes (Especially knitted or crocheted ones), Old Magazines, Old Photos, Pretty Paper, Starbursts on Anything!!!!!, Purses, Vintage Night Gowns, Vintage Dishes ...

I'm new at this crafting thing and the possibilities are endless. I enjoy making collages, making cards and ATC's.

My favorite eras are the 1950's and 60's. Madmen is one of my favorite shows.

I have a penchant for vintage fashion so anything to do with that is wonderful. Magazine pics, photos etc. I love vintage nightgowns and peignoir sets. So darling!!!

Old Postcards, photos of old movie stars, playing cards with movie stars on them. Wow!!!

I am in love with retro Starbursts. I love atomic shapes.

Vintage stationery, old note cards, new ones too for that matter!!!!

Vintage Barbies and Barbie clothes.

My husband is a pilot and I love airplane stuff. Logos etc.

Pinups and old WWII nose art is fantastic!!!! I would love photos of these.

I love the color red and especially red lipstick.

I am a hairdresser and I love vintage hair salons and photos of them etc.

I think vintage store front windows are fun and I would love photos of these.

Architecture and furniture from the 50's and 60's is my favorite. I would love photos and postcards of these things.

I also love vintage lighted up marquee signs. Old motels, restaurants etc. Photos of these would be great.

I am so easy to please and would love just about anything. Thanks.
