About Me

I really like to write. I like to send postcards and receive mail. My grandmother got me hooked on the mail delivery and I have had so much fun doing Postcrossing.

I like teas. My favorite is Peach Tea.

I don't have a TV so I don't know anything about the shows, commercials or who most actors/actresses are. I like to read. I like to knit. I like to paint. I like to make books.

I have dogs, cats, chickens and goats.

I am married and have 2 daughters.

I would like to get more animals but my busy life can only handle caring for these. One day I would like to have bison and/or cows and turkeys. Our family farm will be wonderfully complete with such majestic animals.

I like to make soap. I completed the Master Food Preserver course through the Extension Office. I had to teach many other people about drying, canning, freezing in order to finish my course work. I really enjoyed it.

We keep bees and I have a lot of honey because of this. The bees are fascinating to watch and certainly helpful to the environment around us.

Comment: I love the Quote :) Thanks for a smile. The Postcard is awesome. I bring one of my cats to the office with me, but one of the owners has brought in their bird - so no more cat :) We were just laughing about how fast the bird would disappear. So cool your kitty is gentle.

Comment: Love the themed postcard & postage. How was the stamp made, with the raised lettering & outlines?
Response: It is a specialized printer that prints clear for 3-D effects. They are fun. We have one here at work. Hence the "go to graphics, they will make me look good" philosophy.

Comment: Love the bee stamp! On the way home from the post office, NPR had a story about illegal beehives in NYC. Apparently, they recently decided to change the law so they don't have to keep them secret.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the amazing package you sent. The books are just too beautiful, I will cherish them always. You are a very talented book artist. I am going to try out the PVA mix tonight! You were so kind to send the mix and then more to make my own mix. I love the size of the books, I think I will put only very special memories in them. The first memory is going to be meeting you. Wow, just wow!!!!! This is what you would call a bazzillion heart package. Happy Dance!
